The government makes the gun laws
So they can take our right to own
Every citizen un-armed
Is a citizen they control
All they see are weapons
It’s the only thing they know

OK, so it’s not exactly Cole Porter.  [h/t onlygunsandmoney.com]

  1. Nice! Good to see someone other than country artists promoting our 2A rights. They did a pretty good job on the song and vid as well.

  2. Surprisingly, it’s not terrible. I’ve heard another pro 2a metal group that sucked so hard it made my head hurt. But, even though it’s not bad, I’ve never liked political/social/religious subject matter songs of any type. I want to listen to music and enjoy a beat not learn a lesson.

    • I would tend to agree with the exception of “Shutting Detroit Down”. Every time I hear that song I get pissed off thinking about TARP.

  3. I’m buying the album in support. I like the song and the video, they tell a story and have musical skills to back up the story.
    Edit: Check out the track list for the album;
    1) Right To Bear
    2) Soldiers Of America
    3) Rally The Youth
    4) Honk If You Want Peace
    5) Walking Through That Door
    6) American Dream
    7) Hallowed Ground
    8) Where Was The Media Then
    9) Before The Hyphens Came
    10) In The Days That Reagan Ruled

  4. I’m not sure this kind of art is very effective. There are lots of great songs out there about heroes, but when you leave the hero out and focus on the tool, you’re losing an awful lot of appeal.

Then again, as a society we don’t believe in heroes anymore, so it kinda makes sense.

Then again, maybe that’s our problem.
