He’s also wearing a fashionable ankle bracelet and tracking device and will have to keep to a curfew. And he can’t open a bank account, obtain a passport or set foot in the local airport. But not everyone’s happy about the way things are going. According to miamiherald.com, “Shortly before Zimmerman’s release, the Rev. Al Sharpton criticized Zimmerman for raising money through online donations. The civil rights leader was in New Orleans with Martin’s parents, Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton. ‘Now, we see they are soliciting money!’ Sharpton said.” If Rev. seems like restricting him to Seminole county (and making that public knowledge) would certainly make it easier to find him, even though reports are that he’s in a “safe house” with a security detail…that would seem to be pretty conspicious and easy to spot. I think I would have opted to stay in jail, save all that donated money…but it’s easy to armchair quarterback the whole thing….
