  • Robert, a retired electrician, totes a SIG P250 .45 in a DeSantis IWB rig. Which is plenty of firepower to handle just about anything that most people will ever encounter. See what else he’s packing at Everyday Carry . . .

  1. In the article from Ruth Bass in the Berkshireeagle.com wrote:

The Second Amendment never meant that you and I have the freedom to own a weapon that’s a threat to family, neighborhood and town. It does grant “the right to bear arms,” which certainly was essential in the pre-police, pre-army days when an individual had to nail a coyote before it grabbed the last sheep or protect the family from a band of marauders. In either case, they did a lot of reloading.

    Wrong ! Wrong ! Wrong.!

The second amendment Says nothing about what fire arm we have the right to own lady. Just that we have the right and that right SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED period !! And really ? She thinks we should revert back to using something akin to muzzle loaders . Lets just move to the country and live in mud huts and hunt with rocks like cave men. Of course now I am being ridiculous

Never ceases to amaze me just how ignorant people are about firearms ownership.

  2. The Shockwave is a very specific tool for a very specific job.
Up close and personal within an enclosed space. Home DEFENSE, and/or in a vehicle while sitting DEFENSE.
They are tapped for a rail and with a pistol laser and/or a light they are effective much farther than you would ever need in a house or vehicle..
The Shockwave was first released and the Remington followed.
As of this post the Shockwave is now also available in 20 ga.
Your choice, but carrying 1 more round and Mossberg ergonomics works for me.
    Your mileage may vary.

  3. Surprised the article on the Chicago PD didn’t ding them for the “7.62 caliber” rather than 7.62mm. 7.62 caliber does sound like a good weapon to get off the street…
