It’s always hard to tell if socialist US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is ignorant, lying, or just engaging in projection of her fanciful, wishful thinking. Another day, another case in point. The Congresswoman from Queens explained to CNN why she skipped the Biden swearing in.

WATCH: AOC Claims She Didn’t Attend Biden’s Inauguration Because She’s Scared of Republican Congressmen

“Yes, well, one just tried to bring a gun on the floor of the House today,” she responded. “I believe it was Representative Andy Harris of Maryland. He tried to bring in a gun on to the House floor. For individuals who don’t know, guns are not allowed in the District of Columbia.”

While it’s true that the District has always tried to make it as hard as possible to — lawfully — own, let alone carry a firearm, yes, you can have have guns there. I even have a vague recollection of the Supreme Court weighing in on the subject.

As she explained to Fredo Cuomo . . .

“Yeah, you know, I think we also had very real security concerns as well, as you mentioned earlier,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “We still don’t yet feel safe around other members of Congress and—”

“How many are ‘We?’” Cuomo interjected.

“I think a very considerable amount,” Ocasio-Cortez replied.

But, as I said, wishful thinking might figure into her ridiculous claim. With courts that are iffy at best on upholding Second Amendment rights anti-gun Democrats in control of both Congress and the White House, she may be anticipating a coming ban of some kind.

As a scholar of local and constitutional law, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez almost makes an adequate bartender.

  1. She’s an attention-crazed, high-maintenance, racist, and immature idiot. She obviously doesn’t know any more about being armed than she does how wreckless and paranoid a person will suffer from a deservingly guilty conscience.

  2. Well, some animals are more equal than others, see girlie and Congress critters are some of them.

    Art 1, Sec 6 states, in part;

“…They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.”

So gun control doesn’t apply to your fellow critters there girlie. Obviously this creates other issues for non-Congressional critters involving the 2A and 14A amongst others but… hey, she’s a bit slow on the uptake so we’ll start with the basics.

    • Carrying firearms in Congress was banned years ago after a pitched gun battle in the Senate cloak room. There is nothing in what you quote that gives members to carry firearms in Congress, as such actions would constitute a breach of the peace. Guns are only allowed on the grounds of the Capitol, including in congressional and senate offices, but not in chambers.

      • I’m not seeing the issue here.

Congress should be allowed to carry, in fact the entire country should be able to.

Yes, even those from the Left/Progressive side.

sooo who would carry what may be debatable..

Lauren Boebert has been seen carrying a Glock. Not sure what the gentleman from Maryland had.

Ted Cruz might carry a lever action from Henry. Evil Nancy a small .32 with fake pearl grips.

        • “Congress should be allowed to carry, in fact the entire country should be able to.”

That is after all the supreme law of the land for all citizens listed on the books.

        • And I remember when lunatic scramblehead drunk Nancy chased after one of her peers on the floor. She a pathetic unhinged bitch (like Feinstein who also carries) that shouldn’t even be near a firearm much less in Congress.

      • “Carrying firearms in Congress was banned years ago…”

No it wasn’t. Carrying was banned in specific areas of the Capitol but not the entire building. It was banned for “civilians” building-wide in 1967. Oddly in response to something that happened nearly a decade before.

Congress people are allowed to keep guns in their office and for travel purposes. Remember when Ken Buck had an AR on the wall in his office way, way, way back in… 2020?

“[Guns are] prohibited in the House and Senate chambers and their adjoining lobbies and cloakrooms, the Marble Room of the Senate, and the Rayburn Room of the House.”

        https://huffman.house.gov/media-center/in-the-news/-an-exemption-to-the-us-capitol-gun-ban-members-of-congress

Further, the DC law is questionable at best in terms of stopping Congresspeople who are actually working or traveling to or from work at the time. Yes, the Constitution states “Felony” and unpermitted carry is a felony in DC. Do you really think the cops want to open that can of worms? What evidence would they use to do so? Evidence of a not-crime on Federal property over which the city has no jurisdiction?

      • Not quite correct. From the WaPoo:

And in 1954, the nation was shocked when three Puerto Rican extremists fired 30 shots from a visitor’s gallery, injuring three Democrats and two Republicans. The last major incident in the Capitol was in November 1983, when a time bomb ripped the mahogany doors outside the Senate cloakroom.

So the PR terrorists shot up the place in ’54, but Jimmy Carter commuted their sentences sometime in ’78 and ’79. So apparently, gunfire in the chambers wasn’t that big of a deal to Jimmy.

        • Ah, the Weather Underground with William Ayers and Bernadine Dorn, a couple of Obozo’s mentors from Chicago.

        • Actually, Vinny, the 1983 Senate bombing was by Susan Rosenberg, a Marxist who was ultimately caught and sentenced to a long stretch in the federal hoosegow . . . until Clinton commuted her sentence on his way out the door. (And guess who was instrumental in persuading him to do so? Jerry Nadler.)

When Rosenberg got out of prison, like Ayers and Dohrn she promptly landed a teaching position at a major university (CUNY). Today, she’s on the board of one of the BLM organizations.

Funny how the left tends to “forget” its encouragement and applauding of actual violence.

      • I disagree. Carrying a concealed firearm, that no-one knows about, cannot be a breach of the peace.
I would submit that the metal detectors for congress critters are blatently unconstitutional, unless they can detect treason, as opposed to metal.

That being said, I don’t know why they would “need” a gun, everyone loves them!

Also, the only attack on the floor of the congress I recall from history was some guy with a CANE

        • I’m reasonably confident that the sentence is meant to be read as a list

“…except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace…” being three distinct things, one being “Felony”.

        • The incident to which you are referring is Alexander Hamilton using his cane on another member during a heated debate. Physical violence in the house and senate chambers was not terribly rare in those times as many very heated arguments came to blows in the chambers. Another point to remember is that far more than one heated dispute in congress during that period of history also led to a challenge of satisfaction upon a field of honor (a duel for those of you north of the Mason/Dixon). One of many examples that comes to mind is Aaron Burr vs Alexander Hamilton. Before a snowflake melts, these duels to settle disputes or address a person greatly disrespecting another’s honor (e.g. calling one a liar, etc.).

I firmly believe that an armed society is a polite society, and my goodness was the world of politics was far more polite in the average US citizen’s life during those times. Before our “elected representatives” came to believe that it is perfectly OK to speak and act horribly disrespectful and personal attack speeches including family members, they knew that their words had consequences. These days, there is nothing too disrespectful or disgusting to say in congress about the person, family, or pet because they know that their words have no consequences. This is very similar to comments on discussion threads like this one. Commenters say the most horrible things sometimes (that they would never have the courage to say to the other person’s face), and they think that their screen and internet somehow protect them. For anyone living under a pile of rocks, there are a lot of unhinged people in this world, and the wrong insult to the wrong person may result in some really mad psycho driving across the country to respond to the internet troll comments face to face and non-verbally.

Oh how I pine for the days when people were accountable (one way or another) for their spoken words to another and their actions…

        • missing segment from my comment: Before a snowflake melts…these duels were held away from the capitol, outside on a field of honor.

Apologies for becoming distracted and omitting a portion of a sentence.

        • There’s an old-ish (10 years maybe) article from the NYT about historical violence in Congress.

Violence in Congress, fights, canings, shots fired, blades wielded etc were actually reasonably common in the Halls of Congress in the 1800’s they just went virtually unreported until the telegraph became a thing in the 1840’s. Apparently reporters were worried that if they reported it then the next time they might be *cough*”stopped” *cough* from reporting the latest and so they didn’t bother to report any of it. In the later 1840’s, once the telegraph made it very fast to report the goings-on around the country, reporters felt they could “outrun” the members by getting the story out very quickly and became more comfortable in doing so At that point the facts started to get out.

Such violence is exactly where the Radical Republicans came from. Unlike the Whigs they were willing to actually physically fight Southern Democrats as well as pro-slavery Whigs and use weapons to do so whereas Northern Whigs generally had not carried weapons and were at a decided disadvantage against the pro-slavery Members who were willing to literally beat (or do something worse) someone during a disagreement.

There was even an incident (In the 1830’s IIRC) where a Congressman allegedly went for his gun because he was angry about what a witness said during a committee meeting. The witness was too afraid to return and actually had to be held in contempt of Congress to force his return and subsequent testimony.

For all the talk about incivility in Congress it’s never been a very civil place and was particularly uncivil in the ~30 or so year leadup to the Civil War. But even after that it wasn’t exactly “safe” by post-1945 standards.

  3. Whatever man, y’all would lay pipe all day and all night. But she’s just as soon piss fire than deal with y’all Q losers.

  4. She is NOT ignorant, she is stupid. The difference is the ignorant can learn. She is no different than libturd voters

  5. Calling AOC ignorant is being kind, that assumes a capability to learn.
She ran for a political office for almost a year, then when she got elected she did not know what branch of government she had been elected. Has a degree in Economics, but knows nothing about economics. On several occasions has misquoted economic theory. I still think that school should be decertified. A person that incapable of learning is a moron.

  6. Okay, she’s a dumb as a box of hammers, but she does seem to have a decent shape. Give her to the troops.

  7. Miss Occasional Cortex, braindead from birth or did she work very hard to perfect her current state,in the immortal words of Mr.Buggs Bunny, what a Maroon.

    • did she work very hard to perfect her current state,

Yeah, she’s a SPECIAL kind of stupid, you have to start out as a TROLL and spend years absorbing lying ass liberal talking points…

        • MaddMaxx is a proud graduate of Trump University!

Ahhhhhhhh a NEW protégé? Or just another dime a dozen troll… I’m betting on the latter…

  8. DC readily gives carry permits even to non-residents. Thank you Mr. Heller and Mr. Wrenn. It was great to meet each of you.

  9. AOC is not stupid, ignorant or dumb. She got herself elected as a front for Socialist movement and is being very effective at taking American rights, freedoms, and liberties away from you keyboard commandos. Your big words will never hurt her, but her associations with Socialism will make you subjects.

    • her associations with Socialism will make you subjects.

That will be THE cold day in hell…. As far as her stupidity? You don’t need a lot of intelligence to repeat someone elses talking points…

      • She taken no rights, not yet anyway. One person can’t make policy but if more like her can manage even a simple majority, things will change. This is why the Democrats and their socialist friends want to re-arrange demographics by immigration, tear down walls, offere “free” education, pack courts, and do away with the electoral college. Doing so will allow even more ideologically dangerous and stupid un-American policies because change can occur by simply introducing more uneducated voters unaccustomed to our cultural and political values.
When people like her gain a majority, it’s game over. Matter of fact, we’re there now. Trump was a speed bump on the way to socialist hell and it’s simply a matter of time.

        • The Oathkeepers, 3%er’s, proud boys and Q supporters who attacked the United States Capitol on January 6, did much more to harm our firearms rights than AOC could do in a lifetime.

        • Why? Were guns used?

          So they did nothing. Right?

I guess you only believe what you want to tho…

Imagine someone shooting a BLM/antifa protester for storming a Wal-Mart… But since it’s the other side, it’s terrorism, huh…

Taking it to the capital was far more patriotic than anything the left has ever done, and they did so UNARMED.

      • And that is how we’ll destroy ourselves from within. Putting unqualified people in jobs that are way over their heads. Damaged us enough already.

  10. I think her main job @ the Bar was taking care of the boys @ closing time…….Cuz that’s when the girls looked prettier 🤣🤣🤣

  11. Oh look, an excuse for boomers to be pedantic, I bet that will be missed. “tHe IgNoRanT cAn LeArN !1!!”

She’s right. The only practical effect of Heller is getting all of you tools to love a ruling that says the RKBA is not unlimited.

    • How about you sticking one in your mouth and pulling the trigger? Paint the ceiling with your one brain cell, there’s a good fuckwit… 😉

  12. … yes, you can have have guns there [in DC]. I even have a vague recollection of the Supreme Court weighing in on the subject. — Bussjaeger

Maybe Sandy-O was busy studying the Gini Coefficient when the Supreme Court was deciding DC v. Heller. Guns were also legally owned in DC before Heller, but of course they were required to be disassembled.

  13. The courts generally ignore the existence of DC v. Heller, why should we expect a junior representative to be any better?

  14. I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again,,,,
The only good Democrat is a …. ……..!
    You fill in the blanks.

  15. A nice piece of hickory with which to beat some sense into AOC with, would be a suitable substitute I would think.

  16. Ronald Reagan called it for us over 56 years ago:

“Well, the trouble with our liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant. It’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.”

  17. There was a better time in politics when someone like AOC MIGHT still have been elected by a weird district but would be laughed at and told to sit down and shut up until she had actually had some experience in governing- and even after that would be largely ignored because she is so far on the looney left. But for a variety of reasons, that time is over. The GOP was captured by its insane wing and the democratic party is on the same path. A lot of this is thanks to primaries being the only challenge to most incumbents (which favors the more… er… strident party members) but it’s also because people sit in their echo chambers all day.

Biden, for all his faults, is not part of the really nutty sector of the party. Neither was Obama, rhetoric aside (another ‘constitutional scholar’). But while Obama was able to reign them in due to his agile politics and- let’s face it- his race, Biden might be too old and too white. Harris, should she take over, could do it- but I doubt she will. Not because she cares but because she seems to be happy to drift with whatever direction the political winds are going.

Anyone who thought having Trump and Biden as the two major candidates this year was bad will not be happy with 2024.

    • If they convict Trump (at this point, likely) I’m looking forward to a very powerful 2024 candidate, and she’s interested – Nikki “I don’t get confused Haley.

Smart, personable, and electable (the most important part)…

      • I’ll never vote for that cancel culture backstabbing bitch. Removing the Confederate Jack is totally inexcusable. I’ll vote independent before I vote for her or anyone like her. She’s no better than AOC, et al.

        • I agree the right to fly a stars and bars but don’t you feel it’s poor manners these days? It genuinely does offend people now that they’ve been so convinced it’s now “hate, not heritage.”

It’s political suicide for any politician that supports flying it, so Haley made the right call if she wants to continue her political career. All principals in the world won’t do any good if anyone remotely qualified has to fall on their own sword.

          • but don’t you feel it’s poor manners these days?

Enough of the “feelz” bullshit… Nobody gives a damn if I am offended when the “flaming” gays take over Orlando and Disney every year or when the wetbacks fly their Mexican flags on the 4th of July… Sooo maybe explain to me WHY I should give a fuk about how someone feels if I fly a Confederate battle flag…. Is there one person Black, white or otherwise) who was DIRECTLY affected by slavery OR the Civil War… Sorry, but I said fuk the feelz a long time ago… I know, how about everybody just get over themselves…

        • Isn’t it obvious I can care less if she has a political career or not? You really don’t do your intellect any justice by trying to make that silly-assed point to begin with. And hell no I don’t care about anyone’s politically correct feelings whether they can think for themselves or not.

Do you care about my feelings if I’m offended at them replacing an honorable banner of our nation with the “X” flag of A TRUE RACIST MALCOLM X-BOX along with the statue of a treasonous rainbow communist dictator who is married to a nut-dragging’ man-wife and fraudulently ran for and was elected to the White House (now recently the HO HOUSE)? Of course you don’t and won’t if I support the display of the CSA.

But then again I shouldn’t expect an obviously apathetic bleeding-heart to give a damn about double-standards as long as all the snotballs in this country can “feel good”.

        • Cool, I’ve never been called an apathetic bleeding heart before.

It’s fine for you to talk a big game on the internet and I’m a big boy with a thick skin that isn’t too bothered by it. Go ahead and let me know when you find the principled non-compromising person to run the country that isn’t already serving life in prison.

          • Maybe you ought to run for office then since you think so highly of yourself. Don’t sound like anybody all that smart gets in just hasn’t to be wrong and corrupt. You shine with those qualities so you should probably be a shoe-in just like you are here.

        • “Removing the Confederate Jack is totally inexcusable.“

Removing the banner of traitorous scoundrels from the public property of the United States of America is a good thing.

Anyone who finds the flag of the losers needs to rethink their commitment to United States of America.

And those statues of General Lee, etc. are nothing but public second-place participation trophies, fittingly blessed daily by our feathered friends.

        • “Maybe you ought to run for office then since you think so highly of yourself.”

That’s actually a great idea, can I count on your support and vote?

“…. wrong and corrupt. You shine with those qualities….”

Wow, you know me so well! You are literally insulting someone online you’ve never met. Forgive me for not having too hurt of feelings.

To be fair to you, anytime I find myself aligned with miner49er I probably am wrong. But you just keep on flying your flag that used to represent democrats, I just asked if you thought it was polite and/or you thought any politician supporting it will ever be elected. I never advocated to take away your right to freely express yourself and it’s become pretty clear to me you aren’t overly concerned with “polite.”

          • No but your child-like insecurities showed true when you tried to intimidate by stating how big and tough you are. Sure don’t turn out to be very thick-skinned to me at all.

And believe me I‘m not worried one damn bit about you taking anything from me at all.

  18. You don’t need a machine gun? Well actually a semi auto is better, that is unless laying down suppressive fire to cross a street while taking fire, not in my town but may be coming soon to D.C. These morons just don’t get it. What they are calling “the insurrection” was just a protest that got emotional and out of hand.

Just wait until these communists attempt (Ii do mean attempt) to take so called assault rifles from law abiding citizens. For those of you who are math challenged, Imagine 1863 civil war, SQUARED. I hope it doesn’t happen, but dems are so stupid and drunk with power they don’t realize when it does, 1000 or 2000 heavily armed citizens storming the capitol and taking no prisoners will not be what they expected. It will be the last think they expected, period.

  19. Breaking:

AOC: “We can’t have guns in the Capitol. We cannot ever forget what happened here on January 6th. Therefore we need to impeach Donald Trump Immediately.

I must reiterate what Charles Schumer said earlier today. Donald Trump is guilty of AN EXCITING ERECTION.

And as Americans, WE NEED TO REIMAGINE VIAGRA!”

  20. “It’s always hard to tell if socialist US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is ignorant, lying, or just engaging in projection of her fanciful, wishful thinking.”

    Nah, she’s just plain stupid…

  21. Maybe she should have been Joke Biden’s running mate. That way, where could have been half a brain in the White House right now.

  22. Its lucky for her she’s a half decent looking girl. She can at least have some human value as a prostitute. She’s too stupid to earn an honest living any other way.

      • That’s debatable.
If the tips were so good, try to convince me that it isn’t greed or ideology behind her desire to be in Congress.
Being attractive has benefits. Ask Bernie Sanders how grumpy, old white male socialists are faring in popularity contests with the extremists these days and you’ll probably have a good indication of what, or who, is running the agendas and funding of American left-wing politics.

  23. If being stupid and ignorant was painful, maybe she would wise up. Well, that or she would just bellyache more. she’s been in congress for over two years and has no idea how many of her colleagues have been packing iron the whole time. as of yet, there is no rule that prohibits the carrying of firearms in the house by house members, I believe any law she found from the civil war was overwritten in the 1990s.

Citizens are restricted from bringing firearms into the chamber and, if memory serves me correctly, the capitol building.

  24. AOC is the perfect example of what happens as a result of all the misinformation, disinformation, and lies that are being drilled into the minds of the younger generation. She is an idiot with political power and that is what makes her dangerous.

  25. Now you see the fear which has permeated the Dems after they learned that the People could actually kick in the doors anytime they wanted to. It was a bucket of cold water dousing the Dems sense of invincibility. Result? Inauguration can’t possibly be secure without 26,000 soldiers locking down the entire city and fortifications against… well, everything. Then they realized that those very soldiers might not exactly share the far-left agenda of the new regime. Suddenly: background checks on 26,000 troops in 48 hours.

Their arrogance will come right back, of course. The Dems will change the Capitol Police to a praetorian guard and build better security to protect themselves from the consequences of their tyranny. But they will never increase background checks on interns, lobbyists and the other Swamp Creatures that skitter and chitter through the halls every day. It will be back to business as usual within a month.

  26. call it the RONA 2.0 but seems merica is losing the patriotic smell it started to have prior to CHINA taking over the world… oh well, lock those hubs bois.

  27. Y’all are making the mistake of presuming that a woman’s IQ is inversely proportional to her bra size. Yes, AOC has big breasts, the type that a guy could really sink this teeth into. Yes, her political agenda seems insane to us because it would destroy the US economy. However; her seemingly shit brained political agenda is brilliant once you understand that it is motivated to enhance her personal wealth and power as well as the wealth and power of her racial/ethnic group at the expense of White, Anglo non Latino people. Those big breasts camouflage a very cunning intellectually gifted, cunt.

Our presumption that AOC’s political agenda will fail is predicated on the presumption that at some point White, middle class gun owners will go primevil on their miserable asses. The closest we have came to doing so is the mostly peaceful ruckus at the US Capitol where most of us were to enthralled by the historic grandeur to actually riot. Despite attempted incitement by possible ANTIFA/BLM provocateurs to torch the place, the damage was limited to what was necessary to forcibly enter. Even the scary looking guy wearing the bear fur and horned helmet was caught on video being in awe of the Senate chamber and very polite to the Capitol police officer.

Until such time as conservatives actually do start going primevil on liberals, the liberal agenda, strategy and tactics will be brilliant. They understand that folks with small arms can not prevail in a pitched battle against the US military. They understand that we will not prevail if each of us simply waits for the police to come to our own door to take our guns. They also have now acknowledged that they have a problem with political reliability within the military and police. The new Secretary of Defense has vowed to purge “extremists”, meaning White Patriots, from the military. Defunding and disbanding of the police will become a political purge. Only a very select few of us have the weaponry and the knowledge to destroy an M-1 Abrahms tank. (Yes Virginia, there are a few vulnerable soft spots that can be perforated with small arms).

Only a few of us conservatives understand that to prevail in a civil war, we would be having to commit acts what we recognize are acts of terrorism. Our Congress critters will retreat to fortress Washington DC which will become a very, very hard target. The Capitol was actually designed by a military mind to be easily defended by only a few troops. Few of us will be presented with an opportunity to target the true villains such as Zuckerberg of Facebook or Dorsey of Twitter. Even fewer of us would have the resources to prevail over their private security. Once we begin such attacks, the billionaires would migrate to Europe where they would be less vulnerable. About the only available targets would be cell phone and computer stores as well as the big server farms that no one hardly notices exist. Once we start doing these things, or level of functional technology would regress by about half a century.

Conservatives would then have to begin acting like inner city gang members. We would have to begin attacking and killing random people whose only offense is that they have Biden Harris bumper stickers on their cars. We would have to be attacking women and children not just men, whose only offense is that they are riding in cars that have Biden Harris bumper stickers. Once we started doing that, the Biden Harris bumper stickers would be removed.

We would have to begin targeting people based on other criteria. Living in neighborhoods that voted overwhelmingly for Biden Harris would have to become a criteria for designating people as legitimate targets. At some point, we would have to ignore the fact that Trump won the largest percentage of Black and Latino voters of any Republican in two generations and start attacking people simply because they are Black or Brown. We would have to become the racists that they accuse us of being. We would have to emulate Dylan Root by committing mass shootings at Black, Hispanic and, liberal churches as well as mosques, and temples of non christian faiths.

Once we start down this road of civil war, the possibility of a negotiated compromise will become remote at best,. We will not easily be able to revert to the USA of say the 1960s. We will not be able to restore the Republic to what it once was. We will be lucky if we can establish a new America where there is some form of a Republic with a limited class of voters. More likely we will have to establish a dictatorship that can not be trusted to respect our rights as well as everyone else’s.

Gun owning conservatives need to very carefully consider these questions before we accuse AOC of being stupid. Until such time as someone actually assassinates AOC, she is brilliant.

  28. Just more politicians trying to get past rules us underlings must follow according to them

  29. It’s a good thing she’s not bad looking. I’d do her. As Nancy Pelosi once said, any democrat would win AOC’s district, “a glass of water with a D next to it would win her district.”

  32. “Garret Miller of Texas faces five criminal charges stemming from the Capitol insurrection, including trespassing offenses and making death threats. Miller allegedly tweeted, “assassinate AOC,” according to court documents.
He also said the police officer who fatally shot a Trump supporter during the attack “deserves to die” and won’t “survive long” because it’s “huntin[g] season.”

Prosecutors said in newly released court documents that Miller posted extensively on social media before and during the attack, saying a “civil war could start” and “next time we bring the guns.”

    • is there a point to your cut and paste post?

Post a few antifa and BLM stories next time, if you dare.
your friends might not like you any longer.

      • You might notice that this article concerns AOC and her continued physical safety.

And don’t be so impatient, I’m sure the federales will get around to you eventually.

They are just handling the more credible and capable threats to the Congress of the United States of America first, but they’ll come for you keyboard commandos hiding in your Mom’s basement eventually.

Until then, continue to stroke your long hard barrels, letting your fingers lovingly trace smooth lines of engraving… Oh wait, you’re all about the plastic fantastic.

OK, stroke your long hard black barrel and stock if that brings you more joy, carry-on!

  33. WHEW . PRO’s N CON’s .. LET CONGRESS DEBATE IT OUT .
AGREE NO WEAPONS ON THE FLOOR THEIR WORDS ARE WEAPONS ENOUGHT .
NEED LOCK UP PLACE IF WANT , STORE WEAPON . OK HAVE IN LOCK UP IN CHAMBER
    O WHATEVER .

  34. When people ask what has happened to this country, you have to look no further than this complete moron and how in the hell someone this stupid was elected to the governing body of this nation?
What kind of uneducated masses voted for someone obviously unqualified to even be a bartender to represent them and their families as a Congresswoman or Senator?
This once great nation is doomed if this is one of the brightest individuals you could find to represent you!
    God help us all!

    • You know what cracks me up about the anti-AOC crowd. You guys put her down for having been a bartender (ignoring her university degree and political internships) but you think a millionaire like Trump represents working class interests better.

I don’t agree with AOC’s stance on guns (in fact, I believe she’s incredibly ignorant about them) but she’s smart, politically savvy for someone her age, and sincerely cares about her constituents. We could use more folks like that in DC.

I believe that you ought to rethink this theory. She blew a whole lot of good paying jobs for her constituents by chasing Amazon out of New York. She puts on a good virtue signaling show, but everything I see her do is for her own benefit.

        • Maybe you should rethink libertarianism. The real world doesn’t work like you think it is. I’ve seriously never met a libertarian (at least one who understood their position) who wasn’t an insufferable asshole.

Up until recently I was one of her constituents. That Amazon deal was terrible for NYC. It gave huge tax breaks to Amazon (who have tax breaks upon tax breaks), would have driven up housing costs, and wouldn’t have provided enough good-paying jobs.

      • she “cares” about her constituents like Stalin did: by wanting to control everything they do and deciding every aspect of the economy.

she has openly stated that being factually correct isn’t important, only being “morally” correct matters. facts are objective, one’s morals are subjective. the communist purges of hundreds of millions started with the leftist version of “morality.”

we need NONE of her type in congress. she’s a dictator.

    • “What kind of uneducated masses voted for someone obviously unqualified to even be a bartender to represent them and their families as a Congresswoman or Senator?“

Yes, it is amazing that Donald Trump had any support at all. I believe your theory about the uneducated masses is on point regarding his election.

“I love the poorly educated!” DJT

      • I find it amazing that anyone could support Biden, being himself a dim intellect worsened with age, gaffe machine, provenly corrupt with China deals and Ukraine quid-pro-quo, fondles little girls, and has policies that shift manufacturing and energy production overseas to places such as China, Russia, Saudi, etc.

then again, democrats are stupid hypocrites.

        • The best you can do to deflect criticism of your fuhrer is direct it to the dem candidate. Lame.

Here’s a newflash: Aside from the fact that this deflection is a logical fallacy, there’s no Biden cult like you have with Trump. I know of very few dems who had Biden as their first choice (I voted for Bernie in the primary). They voted for him because it was that or face another four years of the dumbest president every with the dumbest group of followers ever.

  35. I don’t blame her for being concerned. Those QAnon nutters who managed to get elected are dangerous. One of them broadcasted Pelosi’s location to the capitol insurrectionists.

    • Snopes says
      What’s True
Rep. Boebert posted a message on Twitter saying “The Speaker has been removed from the chambers” as a pro-Trump mob breached the U.S. Capitol.

      What’s False
Boebert’s tweet did not reveal the location to which Pelosi had been removed.

If you MUST spread Leftist media LIES and DISINFORMATION you really should try harder to post shit that can’t be refuted by a couple of mouse clicks…

  36. AOC is so stupid that she got fired from the M&M factory for throwing away all the W&W’s.

The problem with the left is that they want to invest so much unlimited big-government power into such stupid, ignorant, power-hungry people such as AOC, to where a person who failed as a bartender would have total control over your every decision.

  37. They don’t have time for guns right now, first they need to lock down future control of the Government…
Democrats are already trying to codify all the voting irregularities we saw in Nov 2020 into law, to essentially make it impossible to verify future elections.
Everything to raise cheating to an art form is here in H.R. 1 (the “For the People Act of 2021”), a section of which is called the “Democracy Restoration Act of 2021,” their very first bill: nationwide mail-in ballots, unrestricted ballot harvesting, the end of voter ID, convicted criminals eligible to vote and much, much more…..
This bill essentially requires every state to do away with its own rules for elections (in direct conflict with the Constitution). No state can require more than the last four digits of a Social Security number, for example. Every state must accept internet-only registration, including the signature.
Every state must have automatic registration to vote (“motor voter”) unless the individual specifically declines it….
Every state must allow 16-year-olds to register to vote, though states are not required to let them vote until they’re 18… In no state may a person other than a state or local election official call for voter rolls to be brought up to date… In all states, everyone convicted of ANY crime has the right to vote and must be so notified in writing….
All states must have a period of early voting. All states must participate in uniform absentee balloting. AKA nationwide mail-in voting, “a state may not require an individual to provide any form of identification as a condition of obtaining an absentee ballot” other than just a signature or “similar affirmation.”
A voter can “designate any person to return a voted and sealed absentee ballot to the post office, a ballot drop-off location, tribally designated building, or election office so long as the person designated to return the ballot does not receive any form of compensation based on the number of ballots that the person has returned.
There is no limit on the number of voted-and-sealed ballots a “designated person” can return. What could possibly go wrong? There’s much more, including the “roadmap” for D.C. statehood and what appears to be a complete congressional takeover of redistricting.
The (heart of the matter) “SEC. 3201 National Strategy to Protect United States Democratic Institutions” which calls for the president, in consultation with various Cabinet members and agency officials, to develop over the next year a plan to deal with a number of possible occurrences, including an “influence operation” or “disinformation campaign” that could cause the “erosion of public trust” or undermine the “security and integrity of United States democratic institutions.” In other words “Hey, Freedom of Speech GFY”…
While this legislative abortion makes it’s way to the SCOTUS for Roberts to rubber stamp, Nancy and Chuck will have lots of time to fuck over gun owners…
