From the Rossi website they come in all the usual calibers. .22, .357, .30-30 ect ect

When my keeper wife and I got together I wanted her to have her own gun. She’s a very good shot but not a POTG. Very conservative. More so than me. I tried to steer her towards S&W or Ruger for a revolver. She spotted a Rossi .38 and wanted to try it. It was not my choice but it has proven to be a functional gun.
Since then I bought a youth model 20 ga from Rossi also. Both work as advertised.
I’m going to look seriously at one of these in .44 magnum. While I would like to buy one of Ruger’s Marlins, the price is just too much for my wallet.
Rossis are half the cost of Marlins on a major online site.
…if we’re re-designing lever guns for the 21st century, how about beefing up the barrel and tube a bit, and designing them so the barrel can be floated while preserving the classic ‘look’? I am willing to defer to the gunsmiths, but it would be nice to hear someone who knows their stuff comment on if there be any measurable benefit to doing this.
I’m sorry, but I’m not paying $1000+ for a Rossi. I can get a Henry Golden Boy 44 mag for under $1000 and their quality vs Rossi, well you can do that math. Many guns that are coming out recently are way over priced. You almost can’t buy a S&W revolver in 357 or bigger caliber for less than a grand anymore. And don’t even look at the used market, they want more than the new market most times. If Rossi wants to compete in the high end lever game, they’ll need to significantly reduce that price. Otherwise it’s just fodder on the wall that no one will buy.
No gunms for the poor. Same as hunting.

You almost can’t buy .357 ammo either. And the prices are out of this world (have no idea why).
Volume of production and similar issues for components involved. Good news is it’s typically a top 5 common caliber so it is still available in meaningful quantities.

Paracord on the lever. Uhh because the lever is made thin to save money and it hurts your hands when you leverage a cartridge into the shute hole
I love the lever actions and the more models the merrier. Great deputy gun or home front protection.
I do wonder if they know something we don’t know and are leading us to the non semi auto mountain. Don’t look at the AR behind the curtain, here’s the shiny new, uh slower model.
The R95 lever guns have been seriously underrated. Great guns with some small tweaks to magazine parts and action.
Taurus TH10 came out today. 15 + 1 10mm seems more newsworthy than this.
My Winchester cowboy lever action in 357 magnum has been my go to home defense choice for decades, along with my Ruger GP100. I have other options but have always been comfortable with these two. Nothing wrong with a good lever action carbine. It was the *assault rifle* from circa 1860 until the early 1900’s.
So these two feds are chasing this guy in a field, the guy hits the dirt by a tree and cranks a round in. Just then the two feds cut loose with their mp5’s and gunm the guy down in a hail storm of bullets. He never got off a shot.
For reference this R95 series appears to designate that these rifles are only chambered in .30-30 Winchester. Note that similar series are available in other calibers such as the R92 series chambered only in .44 Magnum.
And my cursory check suggests that this “new” Triple Black design is already available in other series/calibers as well. I can only guess that this “new” Laminate model is already available in the other series/calibers as well.

The sales ad for a local store has the R95 & R95 Trapper in 30-30 listed at $790 in 16 or 30 inch and Walnut.
