He says, “A lot of items have changed recently for me, as I’ve upgraded my iPad, and retired my XDs and bulky holster in favor of a Kimber Micro and a leather OWB holster from versacarry. This allows me to also bring along an extra magazine. My Trusty Hinderer XM18 3″ is starting to look pretty well used, as I never leave home without it. Occasionally, I’ll exchange it for one of my larger XMs, but I’ve decided those are usually too much knife. All of these items are carried on my person, or in an Speck ‘The Ruck’ backpack.”

This is an eclectic pocket dump for sure.

    • Not a true edc unless it’s a Glock. Glocks are the best. They are literally called perfection by the manufacturer. They can shoot 10mm.

    • I’m wondering why anyone would switch from a dead-nuts reliable Springfield to a Kimber. Other than style, of course; the Kimber sure does look nice.

        Springfield sold out the entire 2A community and then posted a teary-eyed damage control vid that did nothing but reinforce their transgression. Personally, I’d rather die than use an anti-2A company gun in self defense. Springfield is dead to me. Never should you bend towards Springfield. They are nothing but fakes, posers, who claim to be an all-American company, but in reality they just import Eastern European hardware, and remake it as American. There is nothing Springfield about Springfield. The company is nothing more than a name and should be forced out of business ASAP! There is no place for trairors in the gun industry. We have enough enemy’s already.

  5. The radio traffic on 70cm and 2M bands is so awful and infrequent, I am not sure why anyone would expend the effort to carry one of those radios daily. Using them for ARES volunteer service is OK, but that can quickly turn a hobby into work. Pass. CW rules. 73

  6. the only thing more idiotic than smoking is vaping, sucking on a piece of plastic or aluminum to get off on a nicotine cloud. I’d expect this guy to use a glock 😉

          You do know you just traded a bunch of chemicals for aluminum and plastic, and condensation gives you popcorn lungs. You are still addicted to nicotine, ya fucken idiot.

        • True. But now I’m feeding my addiction at $1 a day vs $6. And safer than cancer sticks, too, as there are only 6 or so ingredients in ejuice none of which have been proven harmful and most of which you consume in food every day. Even nicotine, which is only good for giving a buzz and creating an addiction to search for that buzz, is not harmful in these quantities. The harm to lungs (and the rest of the body) is greatly reduced with respect to cigs. Further, popcorn lung has never been causally connected to vaping. Oh and the smell! The goddam reak of cigs is gone, too, which is a huge plus. So you see, there are many positives as I continue to work to break the addiction all of which are of benefit to me. Ya fucken idiot.
