  1. avatar Billy Wardlaw says:

Right with ya, Joe. Nice to see you here.

  2. avatar Wyatt says:

    Even the 18th?

    1. avatar William says:

DEFINITELY not fond of that one. And “educated” is pretty vague, a LOT vaguer than, oh, say….. “atheist”. “Graduated from Hogwarts” – now THAT’S pretty specific.

    2. avatar Billy Wardlaw says:

I’m pretty sure he meant ALL of the billy of rights. At least thats what I’m goin’ with.

    3. avatar amagi says:

Don’t take it so literally. Sorry he couldn’t fit his entire political dogma on a sheet of printer paper.

Even if he supported the 18th Amendment, that means he also supports the 21st Amendment.

The fact that they even decided they needed to pass an Amendment is actually a good thing. Now they just use the ever expanding “Commerce” clause to regulate everything from Wheat and Weed to guns.

  3. avatar ProfBathrobe says:

    Support ALL the amendments!

    1. avatar AlphaGeek says:

Threads like this would be a lot more fun if we could directly embed meme pictures.

  4. avatar Matt says:

I dunno… not a huge fan of the 16th myself

  5. avatar Voice of Reason says:

From the ones being posted, one would think that over half of gun owners were atheists. It seems statistically anomalous. (Not that I have anything against atheists owning guns.) Maybe they pick those in order to show that gun owners don’t fit a stereotype?

    1. avatar AlphaGeek says:

As an atheist myself (see what I did there?) it seems to me like a very effective way to explicitly counteract the popular stereotype that the typical American gun owner is an overweight white male fundamentalist Christian.

      1. avatar Jake W says:

        another atheist checking in 😉

        1. avatar Evan says:

          And another.

        2. avatar WA_2A says:

          Me too.

        3. avatar mike says:

          I’ll sixth that.

        4. avatar AlphaGeek says:

          That was genuinely heart-warming, folks.

The soulless titanium mechanism that I use as my heart has doubled in temperature from 10 Kelvin to 20 Kelvin!

        5. avatar Moose says:

I LOLd hard at your comment, alpha.
          Another Athiest reporting in.

  6. avatar ken says:

    I like your hair. #keepinitpositive

  7. avatar DentalPrepper says:

how is it possible to support both the 18th and the 21st?

    1. avatar AlphaGeek says:

      With about 3 extra seconds of thought, which says that “supporting all of the amendments” only applies to those which are in effect, not those which have been repealed. {sigh}

  8. avatar g says:

    Thanks for speaking out, Joe!

  9. avatar Randy Drescher says:

Hi Joe, A fellow heathen (just kidding), good to see you here, Randy

  10. avatar jwm says:

Welcome Joe. At least you ain’t a damned ukelele player.

    1. avatar AlphaGeek says:

That we know of. I’m suspicious. Get a rope.

      1. avatar jwm says:

After Gwen and her paddle, I guess the rope was bound to make it to the party.

        1. avatar AlphaGeek says:

Admit it. You’re going to be dreaming of Gwen and her paddle for weeks.

        2. avatar jwm says:

I admit nothing. Talk to my lawyer, Ralph. He says we got a good defense. I was visiting a freind in the hospital that had just burned his boy bits in a horrific flare gun mishap.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
