Regular readers will have clocked our coverage of rapper Finese2Thymes (a.k.a., Ricky L. Hampton). Mr. Hampton was arrested today after fleeing the scene of the Power Ultra Lounge in Little Rock, Arkansas when gunfire broke out, injuring 28 people. Of course, Mr. Hampton and his cohort ditched all their weapons as they fled, stayed away from public places and maintained a low-profile. Oh wait . . .
Authorities determined – thanks to social media (above) – that the rapper was going to be in Birmingham Saturday, with the arrest executed by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, ATF and FBI.
A search of Hampton’s silver Mercedes yielded two handguns and an AK-47, which the ATF took possession of.
That’s from Rolling Stone, whose prepositional sentence ending is something up with which we should not put.
And get this:Â The New York Times reported that Mr. Hampton was the subject of not one but two outstanding warrants before he performed at the Power Ultra Lounge.
Whatever else you can (and will) say about Mr. Hampton, his rep is assured.

Every time something like this happens someone comes on here and says ” I’m sure the liberals will….blah blah blah.” The hypocrisy is that your statement is actually far more predictable than theirs.
Except that they DO make ridiculously predictable statements that have no material bearing on the situation. Making light of them is preferable to the personal attacks and dishonest statistical gerrymandering we see from the anti side. Lighten up. If you call yourself a liberal, maybe it’s time YOU reconsider your allegiances. They aren’t just coming for conservative guns, neighbor.

Formerly attributed to Winston Churchill, it has been discredited. The attribution at least. As to ending with prepositions, that’s really an old affectation, generally kept alive (go figure) by Latin geeks. The rest of us were just victims of their grammarian disciples.
The only one I really have a problem with is “at”. It’s “Scooby Doo where are you?” Not “Scooby Doo where are you at?”
Just in case you were wondering, the charges do include “felon in possession of a firearm.”

As a matter of fact, there are BILLIONS of little rocks in Alaska. However, we do not name them individually. We name mostly the BIG rocks, and leave it at that.
The last time I looked at a map, Little Rock was down south, not way up north. I think RF wants “AR” for the state instead of “AK”.

As a matter of fact, yes. KS should be pronounced closer to Kansaw. It was the French explorers/trappers who came though and made things hard to pronounce by adding extra letters to words. Kansas was named for the Kanza tribe. You can still see the Kanza Prarie Reserve along Interstate 70 between Topeka and Fort Riley.

My coworkers daughter was in that nightclub. She got a call from her daughter after the initial shots and was on the phone during the last bit of fire.
