Hansel and Gretel (Have Guns) – The dynamic duo’s foray into the woods goes much better for all concerned when they take their long guns with them in a NRA Family re-write. Next up: Snow White’s revenge.

There are 4 MILLION guns on UK streets – and 4,000 youngsters have shotgun licensesThe Mirror forgets to highlight the fact that their pet expert reckons there are 500 THOUSAND illegal guns in The Land of Hope and Glory . . .

The Good Wife’ brilliantly took a shot at gun sellers in the latest episode – Murdered victim’s father posts billboard calling out gun store. Gun store sues father. Father countersues store for increasing gun crime in Chicago and hurting tourism. There are no winners here. That sort of thing.

Here’s why the Marines are bringing back Vietnam-era rifle cleaning kits – “Quite frankly, they don’t work as well as the old rods we had that you just screw together.” Needless to say, the new kits cost four times as much as the old ones.

Supreme Court Almost Ruled That Stun Guns Are Protected By The Second Amendment – Almost? There’s just no pleasing The Huffington Post — unless it’s a law or ruling degrading or destroying Americans’ natural, civil and Constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms.

  1. Looks like Gretel had a little somethin’ somethin’ holstered on her hip case the 12 bore wasn’t enough for the job.

  2. New study shows half of ER docs lie about asking suicidal patients if they have a gun at home… Seriously, have you met ER docs? Suicidal? Stabilize and admit to inpatient for workup… if they did start screening for other things they would be taking away from their actual jobs of like, I don’t know, saving lives?

  3. I went fishing today, when I came home I had 7ticks on me, its to early for ticks. I walk thru about 4 acres of timber, I think thats where I got them. Damn I hate ticks. Didnt catch any fish either, the wind was blowing pretty hard, and the water temp was 42f. I was using worms, this time of year a person should use cut shad, but I dont like the stinkin sht. If fish would bite on ticks Id be in buisness. Just put the dog on the hook an throw him in but you need to use a cement block for a sinker cause he swims back to the bank if you dont.

  4. The story on the Combat Flip Flops is the story behind the story:

    “The Mission
To create peaceful, forward-thinking opportunities for self-determined entrepreneurs affected by conflict. Our willingness to take bold risks, community connection, and distinct designs communicate, “Business, Not Bullets”–flipping the view on how wars are won. Through persistence, respect, and creativity, we empower the mindful consumer to manufacture peace through trade.

As Army Rangers with several Afghanistan tours behind them, Griff and Lee saw a country filled with hard-working, creative people who wanted jobs, not handouts.

Flip flops were just the start. We’ve taken a product that people in nearly every country on the planet wear, and made it a weapon for change. Right now, all our flip flops are made in Bogota, Colombia, providing jobs and investing in people who desperately need it. We’ve done that with all the products we sell.

Our USA made Claymore Bag’s flip the script, on traditional weapons of war. Instead of carrying bombs, these bags act as a carry-all for business tools like iPad’s, laptops and more.

Our Cover and Concealment sarongs are handmade in Afghanistan by local women. Each one takes three days to make, and each sale puts an Afghan girl into secondary school for a week.

The Peacemaker Bangle and Coinwrap are sent to us straight from artisans in Laos – and they’re made from bombs. Each bracelet sold clears 3 square meters of Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) from a region rocked by long-term war – saving lives and providing economic opportunity.

Unapologetically, we make cool stuff in dangerous places.
We do this because it’s our job to show others what’s possible, then encourage them to join us.

    Welcome to the Unarmed Forces.”

    • Yeah, after I visited their site and read all that, I thought, “I really don’t need flip flops and shemaghs, but I’m ordering some anyway.” Now I kinda wish I hadn’t already gotten a Patagonia backpack, because that Claymore bag is cool and supports a good cause. I’ll probably find an excuse to buy it anyway…

  5. It’s so alien and nonsensical to me that someone in the UK actually thinks a few thousand kids with legal permits for shotguns for clay target shooting are actually a problem. Because of all those over-and-under massacres. But, that’s gun control people for you.

But gun-controllers tell us in the U.S. they don’t want to take our guns. Sure.

    • That cat’s been out of the bag. “IF I had gotten (51?) Votes I needed, Mr and miss America turn them all in”

And Hillary saying in October she would like to Australian style gun buy back. There is no denial from the politicians anymore. People that I know that are super liberal continue to deny that the politicians want confiscation. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink!

      • This. No one actually thinks they are a problem, because gun control is never about guns its about control. It doesn’t matter what the guns are used for, all that matters is that there are guns that hurt the delicate sensibilities of the statists.

    • I was actually surprised to read the Comments on that site…most of them are critical of both the article and the concept of disarming the British population. I didn’t expect to see that on the website of a British newspaper.

  6. If Trump gets to be President, and he makes Europe pay more for defense, I expect to see more of the Swiss model for national defense. European peak gun control may be in the mirror. Especially if these terror attacks keep up.

    • Europe is willing importing unvetted migrants from all over Islamic held counties (because they don’t know who is who or who is from where) by the train loads and putting them on welfare… That’s a conditioned reinforcer, if I’ve ever seen one.

They’re going to need more than America can offer to get un-f*cked – we have our own problems.

They tricked me into going overseas to jack with those Hajjis the first time, they won’t be able to do it again.

Europe is on its own, as far as I’m concerned.

  7. The Good Wife is one of the few shows it seems where the makers of it hire conservatives to write the script, as well as liberals. The makers have said they try to present both sides of issues and do so by hiring people from both sides for scriptwriting, so you don’t just have liberals trying to sound conservative.

  8. I like stories similar to the one out of the UK. Recently there were some Australian papers having the vapors over increased firearms ownership. Let them hyperventilate. The good part of the story is that no matter how many roadblocks they put up, there are still a lot of people willing to stand up for their rights. All around the world we see legal gun ownership on the rise, and with it we will start seeing an increase in political activism to protect those rights. Finally we can start to push back against the ratchet effect.
