How do these black powder guns not plug up the baffles in a silencer, Are they using smokeless powder? I will never buy one, ear plugs are cheaper. Just curious
Ear plugs don’t get worn, for multiple reasons, when a hunter is in a stand or out in the woods/field all day long and will maybe take one single shot. That’s why it’s nice to have it on the gun instead.
SilencerCo suggests pouring boiling water through the suppressor every certain number of rounds and I think there was one other cleaning step specific to keeping the baffles clean. The owner’s manual on their site covered that info.
