That bolt is pretty tight and hard for him to work, it might need to be broken in or just the ammo is crap. Good review of the gun, he practices safe handling well.
Have a VZ 24,which is the Chezchoslovakian version,good shooter,heavy though,plan to add a rail and scope.Only thing I don’t care for is the straight bolt handle.

neat. a 98k is on my list of stuff to get. it’s relatively far down on it though.
The M48 is a Yugo. Okay, it’s better than a Yugo, but it ain’t no K98k. The K98k is a Mercedes Benz. The two have little in common.

The kid had great trigger disciplin, and worked the saftey great. His father did a good job teaching him. Outstanding!

I think my m48 is built just a good as the k98 , same thing but shorter. it just didnt kill no nazis
