Hazard 4 makes some really interesting products with a “tactical” flare. Like my camera bag, for example, which is currently performing amazingly well at the show. It looks like they’re expanding their line of tactical products, starting with a MOLLE-slathered carry-on that packs a few surprises.

Even if you’re not traveling armed, this bag makes getting through security a snap. Not only is it exactly the permitted size for carry-on luggage, it has a conveniently placed top loading sleeve for your laptop. The idea is that you put some clothes under the laptop and over the laptop and it keeps your tech safe. The top loading nature also means you can grab it quickly to pull it out at the security checkpoint.

If you’re not passing through security, the bag can also double as a soft rifle case. The same sleeve that can hold your laptop also pulls out to allow you to carry a full size AR-15 or two, with straps on the bottom to keep it from wobbling about.

If that’s still not enough storage for you, there are always the MOLLE straps to tack on more crap.

  1. This is a tactical product with purpose and not just looks. I will be buying as soon as it is available. Though I do worry about the extra scrutiny at the airport because of the tactical look…

  2. Flare = A signal device.
    Flair = Style.

    Sorry, not usually a spelling nazi, but that one hits close to home. My wife’s dance studio has the word “flair” in the title and people misspell it all the time.

  3. How cool would it be if we lived in a world where we could bring our $2k+ AR15 competition guns in our carry-ons?

    • Imagine my disappointment when I bought an old-school camera off eBay which specified “Bayonet mount” and it wouldn’t fit ANY of the bayonets at the army surplus store…

  4. another shoot. me. first. product.

    sorry but unless you are hiding in the desert whats the point of coyote tan except to announce to your fellow passengers how tacticool you are?
