Home Entertainment Name That Gun or Gun-Related Thingie: Water Flowing Underground
It looks like a bolt face.
Closeup of a revolver cylinder?
Who took that fugly picture, anyway? I’d like to give him the back of my hand.
Same as it ever was. Same as it ever was.
That would be me.
You? No way. You are incapable of taking such a bad photo. Unless you did it on purpose. Hmmmmm.
Clockwork mechanism for a drum magazine?
Is it some kind of suppressor assembly/dis-assembly wrench?
No it’s not.
Magazine hold/release pin?
Um, is it part of the “Shoulder thingy that goes up?” *snicker*
If the water flowing underground thing is a clue and not a total red herring, some sort of spring?
It is a clue, yes.
It is the gas port that is drilled into a barrel.
No it is not.
Is it the veiw through a cheap optic?
I don’t think so. Wait. No.
Shot being made in a shot tower?
The inside view of a bullet casing.

Last guess for me, some sort of security screw.

I’m guessing part of a shotgun pump assembly.
Is it a tritium sight insert?
Roller mechanism for a delayed blowback firearm.
Definite WAG there….
Ooh, ooh–close up of a green fiber-optic sight tube?

Remington Accutip Sabot Slug
WE HAVE A WINNER!
I’ve added a pic of the ammo after the jump.
Rich T: ping [email protected] with your address.
Me & a buddy are at work and we have been gearing up for deer season. In the Big Thicket preserve there is only shotgun or muzzleloader to hunt with for firearms. Lots of pigs there, so single shot is a bad choice. Last year he walked into a sounder of hogs at 4am w/ a muzzleloader. Said he almost crapped his pants.
So we have been checking out slugs and when I missed it on the 1st try, he said slug looked like the picture.
Wow. Would not’ve guessed that in a million years.
Hmm, I wonder what it would be like if those holes were filled with tannerite?
