Yesterday, Senate Democrats introduced yet another unconstitutional and outrageous bill attacking the right to keep and bear arms and personal property rights, this one aimed at banning standard capacity firearm ammunition magazines that are commonly possessed and used for lawful purposes by the millions.

S. 1108, introduced by the corrupt and power-hungry Senator from New Jersey, Bob Menendez, is just the latest attempt by authoritarian politicians to infringe upon American’s natural rights. The bill seeks to ban the sale, manufacture, transfer, possession and importation of constitutionally-protected magazines holding more than 10 rounds.

The ironically-named “Keep Americans Safe Act,” a shameless attempt at misdirection to conceal the intended government-enforced disarmament of the American People, would ban individuals from purchasing and possessing arms which are protected by the constitution. Worse, the bill specifically exempts law enforcement and other agents of the state, exposing the bill for what it is: A vehicle to disarm those that are not part of the government’s ruling class.

“Senator Menendez’s and Representative Deutch’s latest bills are nothing more than an outright assault on individual rights and the ability of people to effectively defend themselves,” said FPC’s Senior Director of Legal Operations Adam Kraut. “The notion that an individual does not need more than ten rounds to defend their homes, loved ones, and lives is grounded in fantasy. Should a bill restricting the ability of Americans to obtain magazines capable of holding more than ten rounds reach the President’s desk and be signed into law, FPC Law will respond aggressively, quickly, and forcefully.”

While this bill comes as little surprise to those that have stayed vigilant of Sen. Menendez and his repeated attempts at extinguishing the American public’s right to bear arms, it is nonetheless a legitimate threat against the American people.

Menendez is joined in his crusade against the People by the likes of fellow tyrants House Speaker Nancy PelosiSen. Dianne FeinsteinPresident Biden, and even Biden’s nominee for ATF Director, David ‘Waco’ Chipman, all of whom have expressed their support for such treasonous infringements.

  1. I’d love to hear how they are going to collect them all, personally I’ll give them the magazines but they get the bullets first.

    • Simple – Who wants to be the first to be sentenced 10 years in a federal prison?

The ‘Grandfathering’ they are offering is that you must register the ones you want to keep with an NFA stamp that costs you 200 dollars.

      *Each*.

      10 mags, 2,000 USD…

  2. The democrats are pushing out all they can at the moment to see what sticks. The reality is that not one of their misguided measures will do anything to stop shooting. Limit magazines to 10 rounds, people will carry more. Limit people to be able to purchase 1 handgun a month, well then they will buy more rifles per month.

How will limiting the number of firearms or magazine size stop killings? It won’t. Most people who are buying firearms on a regular or monthly basis are hobbyist or collectors, which I happen to be both.

As a stern believer in the 2nd we need to make sure our politicians know they are treading on a sacred right and not some privilege. We need to be as loud as the miscreants who are taking this nation down, abet we will do it peaceably unless forced otherwise.

  3. Thank you to the never Trump gun and cop hating owners, who have enabled and give courage to these anti-civil rights lawmakers. Who are now unleashed. Now that President Trump is gone. We are all getting exactly what YOU wanted.

    • “We are all getting exactly what YOU wanted.”

      Correction:

“We are all getting exactly what Dominion Voting Systems wanted.”

Accepting that our elections are entirely corrupt is the first step to fixing our country.

  4. It’s easy. Just follow the Connecticut model – you are offered a period of amnesty where you can make plans to turn them in, or register them. If you register them you get to keep them – you can load them to the high capacity levels at home but if you are carrying them, you are only allowed to load them to ten bullets at a time. Must carry paperwork showing registration of magazines if a cop stops you and checks your weapon. If you do not comply, automatic class D felony with a minimum sentence of one year for first offense, and more for each additional magazine not registered.

    • I hope your post is sarcasm.

If is serious there are some issues with that model. The first being one of the key phases in the 2nd amendment is “Shall not be infringed” meaning no limitations can be placed on it. Unfortunately in the past people did not fight for this right and allowed the government both federal and local to start infringing on these rights.

The other issue is if this was put through it would make over 78 million people instant felons until they complied. That process alone could take decades for everybody to comply. The fact is people are pointing to guns as the issue when it is a human issue that causes killings. There is more than one means and method to harm somebody.

Last thing, would you feel that way for ID for voting, everybody has one or they are subject to fines and possibly imprisonment? Voting for a bad candidate has much more repercussions regarding how society functions in the long term.

    • Well let’s take even further…Those troops protecting menendez and his ilk need to go and their remaining security limited to one round of 22 short to compliment menendez’s tiny penis. Come and and get ’em menendez…Just be sure you lead the charge you deranged pompous pasty mouth Jim Crow Gun Control worthless ratbassturd.

  5. Why is this perv still in office? How dare he, after Florida and the Dominican Republic, try an make laws affecting my life? What a sleaze…..

    • Yep. IIRC- the US really needs a law to keep young boys safe from Menendez… one of Epstein’s pals.

  6. Another criminal democrat try to draft new rules for the rest of us!! Hey Bob, the only reason you’re not speaking from a prison cell is the other criminals who wouldn’t convict you!

  7. Read the bill. ALL Magazines, including your lever and pump action tube feds too, are banned, as well as those “capable” of taking more than 10 rounds, as Stasi Pig-F***er Pedophile Bob Menendez says so.

These Bills are being snow-balled and dog-piled alongside the Court Packing Bill.

Stasi Pig F***er Democrats are really invoking North Korea with their agenda, aren’t they?

  8. Overheard on a street corner in the Dominican Republic (or Newark, NJ): “I got pictures, got candy, I’m a lovable man …”

  9. Well I’m sure most of us who frequent TTAG have many magazines that hold over ten rounds so banning magazines that hold more is good.
If you can’t have it you want it even more, we’re all going to be rich. 40rnd mag $400, 75 rnd $750, 100 rnd $1000, making money.
I’m only charging $10 a round for 5.56 too, getem while you can.

  10. “Menendez’s ‘Keep America Safe Act’ Would Ban Standard Capacity Magazines”

    Herein lies a problem…define “standard capacity”…
My EDC is a 7+1, and other pistol is 13+1, then there are the magazined rifles, 5, 10, 20 and even 30, are all “standard capacity” magazines for the various types of rifles…

So, who, or what gets to decide what the “standard capacity” is…???

      • I’ll trade you three slightly used dead guys, half a portion of Panda Express, two fishing lures a belt buckle and some teddy bear stuffing to line your burrow.

        Fair?

  11. This more of government BS that is just plain stupid.
There are states that the gun manufacturers will not send anything but a 10 round magazine to.
I’m not saying that you cant buy a gun with a 15 round magazine from them.
My example is warranty work. If I send a handgun to say S&W for warranty work,
if I send it back with 15 round mags, they have to send it back with 10 rounders.
I bought the gun in my state with the 15 round magazines and that could be one of the possible problems with the issue I might be having. CS will tell you to never send magazines with the gun for warranty work.
If you do, you are going to get it back with 10 rounders and yet there is no state or local law that limits my mag capacity to 10 rounds.

Basically there are variations of this “law” in effect right now.
That being said, aren’t there videos that show someone doing 2 10 round mag changes in the same or better time then 1 15 round mag change? 30 rounds total?
    Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCSySuemiHU

  12. Funny, I seem to have plenty standard capacity 17 and 33 round Menendez brand magazines. Guy seems to be playing both sides of the game lol

  13. Why are these Dems allowed to try to violate the Constitution & Bill of Rights? When will something be done? Have we really gone so far Left that neither matter?

  14. I am sure that will stop all violent crime involving guns, Yea’ just reduce mag capacity, that will do it! Morons. They know it won’t solve anything. It’s all about control. Anyone who believes in gun control must also believe in racism and genocide, because that is how it ends. Take a lesson from history, It always ends with control of your life.
