Now this looks like fun! Lone Wolf has begun shipping its 90%-finished, stainless steel GLOCK slides. They’re completely ready to accept internals and run, but externally they’re unfinished bar stock.

While most purchasers will likely be other “manufacturers” selling finished slides under their own brand names, the appeal of cutting your own serrations, ports, and optics cuts caveman style in your garage is obvious. Probably.

I see a TTAG special edition slide for my G19 coming soon. The first one will probably look like Helen Keller and Michael J. Fox got drunk and did it together, left-hands-only, but I promise I’ll post pictures of my second attempt.

  1. Wow, Lone Wolf actually managed to make a worse looking Glock slide.

Seriously, I like the idea of just throwing this on, sans sights, and heading to the range.

    • If you’re shooting it sideways, what’s the difference? I bet it makes for a cool two tone Glocc Foh-tay for your sideways shooting needs too.

  2. These will be interesting, if they left enough “meat” at the front to taper it, similar to the G34/G35/G26/G27 models.

    Kind of spendy, though, IMO.

    • A friend told this joke to my wife and she was NOT pleased. I believe what you’re getting at is:

Q: Why was Helen Keller a bad driver?

      A: Because she’s a woman.

      Not cool…Not cool.

  3. They finally made it a block. No more joking at this point. The block glock build must be done.

  4. “How can we make money without developing a new product or doing any work?”

“Let’s just grab some **** off the assembly line, call it 90%, and list it for sale”
