One of his best scores was to a little known film called The Last Valley, a 1970 release starring Michael Caine and Omar Sharif set during the Thirty Years’ War. Other than some excellent outdoor cinematography the production values weren’t the best, but the dialogue and acting are some of the best I’ve seen.
He also wrote “Born Free” for the movie of the same name.
Too bad Daniel Craig is an anti-gunner. I couldn’t get myself to a new Bond movie after I read that about him.
