As Tony writes, “I carry this Sig almost everyday. Benchmade Mini-Infidel is also awesome for EDC. Olight S1R Baton is tiny but powerful. The Hamma is custom created multitool, awesome for beer opener and keychain.” See all the details at Everyday Carry . . .

    • Love mine. I’ve been carrying it since early 2015. I’d rank the trigger pull just below the PPQ for best in class for striker-fireds. The trigger you’re looking at in this pic is the aftermarket Apex flatty. It keeps the pull weight the same, but allows your finger to rest lower giving you better leverage and making it feel lighter.

  1. I’m not a big fan of the Benchmade. Awkward blade design for everyday knife uses and nothing like a proper fighting knife. I prefer stuff like the old MOD Mark 1 if you just have to carry something fighty. Decent utility knife with a hook knife, glass breaker and a pommel you can strike with, in a size you can still clip into your pocket.

  2. I don’t know this guy and make no claim about what he is, was, or will be.

But with the recent news of the Army’s handgun program I’m guessing we will be seeing a lot more of these (along with expensive ‘tactical’ knives with edgy names) in the everyday carry shots of ‘was going to enlist but I had a sprained ankle so I just grew a beard and wear hats with morale patches’ folks.
