I carry a large carabiner key chain and have used it to extend bungee cords and tie down straps, to connect chains, attach weights to light and mic stands, and clip bags and other bulk to my backpack to free up hands. I carry it for my keys, but I’ve discovered all kinds of other uses for my clip. Reply Right, but yours has a primary purpose beyond “being a carabiner”.
