From Beretta . . .

Beretta USA is excited to announce the launch of the new and enhanced Beretta 1301 Tactical, the latest iteration of Beretta’s premier law enforcement and home-defense semi-automatic shotgun series. Engineered to be ultra-reliable and easy to use, this modern tactical shotgun features enlarged controls, a cold hammer-forged, back-bored barrel, and Beretta’s ultrafast BLINK gas operating system with a cross tube gas piston that allows for 36% faster cycling than its competition.

“We are proud to introduce the newest additions to the Beretta 1301 Family. We have heard the feedback from our customers and spent the time to determine how to make the Beretta 1301 Tactical 922(R) compliant and offer our customers the magazine capacity that they have been requesting for years with a factory 7+1 capacity magazine tube and a new MLok compatible barrel clamp with dual integral QD Sling swivels. The new pistol grip offering with a Mesa Tactical pistol grip stock allows for greater control and easier manipulation at the user level. We are very excited to bring these new offerings to the market,” Erik Stern, Tactical and Pro Shop Product Manager, said.

Assembled in the United States, the 1301 Tactical provides the highest capacity possible in a lightweight and easy-to-handle package with an oversized charging handle, a large, highly texturized bolt release, and an oversized reversible safety button for easy manipulation in all weather and light conditions. These enlarged controls ensure that your hands will always be able to positively and safely grip it and operate the controls. Also, the aggressive checkering on the forend makes it easy to obtain a secure grip even without wearing gloves.

This enhanced tactical shotgun features a cold hammer-forged, back-bored barrel that dissipates recoil away from the shooter’s body and greatly reduces muzzle flip.

Securing a 7-shot, extended magazine tube, the 1301 Tactical also features a custom barrel clamp with integral M-Lok slots and QD socket and offers an attachment point for accessories.

The 1301 Tactical utilizes a robust, protected ghost-ring sight system with an interchangeable front sight, allowing the user to adapt it to any use – no matter the conditions.

The Beretta 1301 Tactical is now available for purchase in a 12 gauge configuration and black synthetic finish with the option for either a standard stock or a Mesa Tactical Urbino pistol grip stock configuration. The 1301 Tactical retails for an MSRP of $1,429-$1,449.

  1. i once rode shotgun in a beretta. kinda wheezy.
what this world needs is a harvester ithaca ll, straight six, straight axle, straight to the kum n go.

    • The Price for starters, just paid $1349 for mine.

And what about the fact that Beretta isn’t trying to pawn off a neutered version version, while offering LEOS and Military a souped up version, that will cost the customer an additional 2k in upgrades assuming you can even find the parts in stock anywhere.

Its weird that Beretta owns Benneli, because they have a very different attitude towards their customers.

  2. They still dropped the ball, they need to add the competition frame. The longer feed is such a plus in speedy reloads

  3. I just ordered the pistol grip version of this shotgun, probably be a month before it gets delivered, but I’m pretty stoked, will be my 1st scatter gat.
