What is The DC Project? Founded by former Tulsa police officer and professional 3-gun shooter Dianna Muller, The DC Project is a national, nonprofit organization of liberty-loving Women who advocate for Gun Rights by highlighting the diversity of gun ownership as a woman’s issue. We are a non-partisan initiative of women from every state who establish relationships with our legislators to reveal the faces and stories of firearm owners and Second Amendment supporters.
We believe that education, not legislation, is what makes our communities safer. We strive to educate not only our legislators, but also our friends, families, and communities on firearm safety and about the reasons we value the right to protect ourselves with the great equalizer, a firearm.
The 2nd Amendment is a nonpartisan, constitutional right, so we seek to form relationships on both sides of the aisle and share our stories so that policymakers understand that gun owners DO care.
The DC Project has now grown into the state level. Each state has a director and delegate volunteers who are working with their state legislators as well as to be a resource on 2A issues.
Ladies of The DC Project are from every background and walk of life. All contribute daily by being examples of responsible firearm owners. Many have been in the national spotlight by testifying at congressional committees, serving on national boards, and running for office.
The mantra is Education, Not Legislation. The #tealfor2A campaign is finding its way across multiple social media platforms too!
Help these ladies help you, by being a counter to the Bloomberg-funded Moms Demand Action, Everytown and other anti-2A groups that spew misinformation based on emotions, not facts.
