TTAG Heads to Houston for NRA Annual Meeting

Foghorn - comments No comments

We here at TTAG have always brought you the best and most complete coverage of the major trade shows and events in the firearms world, and we’ll be continuing that tradition this weekend. The 2013 NRA Annual Meeting is taking place in Houston and your TTAG editors will be there, covering the events and scoping out the new products with the same enthusiasm that you’ve come to expect. Speaking of being in Houston, let us know (via the email link, above) if you’ll be there as well. If I can show RF that enough members of the Armed Intelligentsia will be there, too, we might get him to spring for some free drinks. Or something. Hopefully. God knows we’ll need them by the end of this thing . . .

  1. IGM! Bought a 3x Nikon Carbine scope but the initial ring/mounts, the Blackhawk 1″ extra high, did not allow for clearance of the scope and folded down rear sight. Just ordered Nikon P series mounts which I have read are high enough to clear. We will see in about a week. Iron sights are spot on but can’t wait for the glass

  2. Hmmm… I’m amusing myself with the visual of it cycling both actions with each pump, irrespective of which one actually needs it.

“Just lemme finagle with this adjusting nut for a moment, Mr. Robber…”

  5. At age 65 I can not have the target and sights in focus. (I hate getting older.) Anyway, I would prefer to find one dot, not trying to figure out which one of nine I’m looking at. Yes, I have a laser on my carry gun, and I practice more with it off, than with it on. It’s also good for aiming practice when shooting from the hip, or off hand without having to use ammo.

  6. The answer can be found in the example of Cindy Sheehan.

The press put her into our faces for years… until she was no longer useful, and then she was dropped like a hot rock.

This is an agenda of the press, people. The political hacks are just trying to find a way to keep their faces on TV, and this is where the cameras are pointing just now.
