We here at TTAG have always brought you the best and most complete coverage of the major trade shows and events in the firearms world, and we’ll be continuing that tradition this weekend. The 2013 NRA Annual Meeting is taking place in Houston and your TTAG editors will be there, covering the events and scoping out the new products with the same enthusiasm that you’ve come to expect. Speaking of being in Houston, let us know (via the email link, above) if you’ll be there as well. If I can show RF that enough members of the Armed Intelligentsia will be there, too, we might get him to spring for some free drinks. Or something. Hopefully. God knows we’ll need them by the end of this thing . . .

Be advised, Cinco de Mayo parade is Saturday morning next door to the convention center. It forms up east of Minute Maid park and travels a loop west and then back to Minute Maid. 10 am to noon. See you there!

Nope…this is Texas baby. Concealed Carry is fine in the convention center. I checked the website. It’s on there. No worries.
I’ll be heading out Thursday morning to the NRA Convention in Houston just east of the Colorado River. 1st. time a member of the NRA and its about time. Should be a Hoot and can not wait to get there. Anybody needing me to ask and or see a vendor a question just post up.
I’ll be there on Friday. Not yet sure if I want to contend with the Saturday crowd.

Highly recommended accessory for the NRA convention, to enable you to visit EVERY booth: Motorized wheelchair or mobility scooter, with extra battery pack.
Wear a GOOD pair of hiking shoes.
Yup, myself and a couple more will be there. Plan on making the rounds at various meet-ups to see folks.
