Because (at least in this election) our choices are Tweedledee and TweedleWAYdumber (and senile, to boot), I will hold my nose and vote for the Orange Man, but . . . I STILL consider it throwing away my vote on “Socialism lite” vs. the pure quill, real deal.
We NEED a new party (or, perhaps better, multiple parties in a coalition system akin to Parliament).
And if there is even a halfway viable choice, next time, I’m going to write in “Bullwinkle J. Moose” (I’ve done it before. “Bozo the Clown” just seemed too trite). Sorry, not sorry – leave me with nothing but a choice between various flavors of crap, and don’t bitch at me if I choose NOT to take a helping.

Give me a candidate I can support, or realize that my vote does not belong to ANY party – offer me crap and I’ll walk away. Now, there IS a material difference between even the annoying and loudmouthed Donald Trump and the complete SCOAMF of a Rutabaga Biden, so I’ll hold my nose and vote for the Orange Man. There certainly is such a thing as the “lesser” of two evils, but if there is no REAL difference, don’t count on enthusiasm, or even necessarily a vote, from me. In this election, it is the difference between (i) loud, annoying, and unprincipled, and (ii) loud, annoying, dishonest, grifting, power-abusing, lying moron (who was stupid BEFORE he became senile).
While there is usually little difference between two evils, this time the difference is stark. I mean, it takes some doing to be more unprincipled, a bigger grifter, a bigger liar, a bigger thief, mind-bogglingly stupid, and now senile. This is a choice between a lesser evil and a complete, evil, rolling cluster-fark of a slow-motion disaster. Xiao Bai-Den has reliably been on the wrong side of EVERY major issue in my political lifetime (including on BOTH sides of many issues – always arriving at the wrong answer when it might have been the right answer earlier or later (his timing sucks, too)).
But don’t give me this “don’t throw your vote away” bovine excrement, and don’t try to tell me that I was ‘better off’ with W than with Al Gore or John Kerry. They’re all stupid, they are all unprincipled, they are all grifters, and they are all in synch on many of their policies, they just couch them in different language.
Years of choosing “the lesser of two evils” has gotten us? Evil. Time to stop accepting “the lesser of two evils”, and insist on at least MARGINALLY acceptable candidates. Oh, and just accept the reality that there is no such thing as an ‘honest politician’.

Voting for a third party (which one of how many?) is, in today’s reality, “throwing your vote away.” If you want to do that, fine.
And if you can’t see how you were better off with George W. Bush than either Gore or Kerry, then you should throw your vote away.

I love the guy but Joe’s got this one in the bag. When Taylor Swift wiggles, another million votes go to Brain-dead Biden. It’s sad but the truth hurts. The Don just made too many enemies. The good news, if there is any, is that Joe will not survive his second term. Either his mind will fail or his body will fail. Herr Biden will fall as Hitler did. Man, there ain’t gonna be too much grass growing around this bush! We all are recognizing the sad fact that politics (or government in general) is only going around in circles in the U.S.A. and has been so for at least 60 years. Who can we vote for? Trump,Biden, Kennedy,Newsome,Harris, Sanders,McConnell,Whitmer,Youngkin? They’re all the same politicians with different names, homes or parties. I don’t believe there is any one outstanding “political leader” that has come to the fore in anybody’s memory. Party affiliation means nothing since there seems to no difference in them. A coalition government? Look at how those countries with that system function, just as bad as us. I don’t pretend to know the answer but I sure hope and pray that some genuine patriot steps foreward but anyone with a brain wouldn’t want to subject their family to the beast that government has become. All that we can do is pray for our nation.
