I don’t know, I’ve voiced my generally anti-tazing sentiments on this site before, but this one didn’t seem excessive. In fact, running at (was that running?) 3/4 speed on black top, I might prefer to be tazed than gang tackled. Think of the road rash!

Tasers are appropriate as part of an officer’s “force continuum” not as a default tool of compliance.
I love tasers and this fool had it coming.
