From the NSSF:

NSSF®, the trade association for the firearm industry, is pleased to announce that firearm, ammunition, optic and suppressor manufacturer SIG SAUER contributed $250,000 to NSSF’s #GUNVOTE® voter registration and education campaign. NSSF’s #GUNVOTE voter registration, education and mobilization campaign works to ensure that America’s gun owners exercise their right to vote so they can protect the Second Amendment.

“SIG SAUER believes it’s imperative for all gun owners to be registered to vote and to know where the candidates at all levels of government stand on the Second Amendment so that on election day they can make informed choices to protect their rights,” said SIG SAUER CEO Ron Cohen. “Our contribution to the #GUNVOTE campaign represents SIG SAUER’s wholehearted belief in the NSSF #GUNVOTE effort.”

“With this generous contribution to NSSF’s #GUNVOTE campaign, SIG SAUER is going above and beyond to assist NSSF in educating and activating voters ahead of November’s election. SIG SAUER’s substantial contribution is vital now more than ever and is to be commended,” said Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel.”

Election Day is less than two months away and millions of voters will head to the polls on November 3rd. Nearly 5 million of those are first-time gun buyers. Current events across the United States demonstrate why the Founding Fathers 230 years ago had the foresight to recognize why the right to keep and bear arms would still be vital today.

#GUNVOTE is a campaign by the NSSF to encourage America’s gun owners to register to vote, to become educated on where the candidates stand on the Second Amendment and, on election day not to risk their rights and #GUNVOTE. The campaign’s website provides links to help voters register and find their polling place. NSSF strongly encourages all industry members to download the #GUNVOTE button to use on their websites and social media platforms.

  1. Sig Sauer: “political marketing is a valid substitute for quality control and good designs right”?

    • Thank you Sig Sauer for a sizeable donation.

Greg…Show some gratitude and respect. Instead of whining like a brat try something constructive like help pulling the wagon with your wallet. Save the whining until after the election otherwise you might have something to really whine about.

      TRUMP//PENCE 2020.

      • Correction…Not Greg but to Red in CO…don’t want Red to get upset over my quality control…No way Jose.

  2. Good for Sig! I never had any experience with them, except to grade a target shot with one during qualification, until my cousin gave me a P-220. I now own three. Another P-220 and a P-226. And I never liked DA/SA autos. These pistols shoot! Red, can’t speak to that quality control or design you mentioned. Mine are all W. German and all are excellent.

    • I’m in the same boat as GFlag. Never owned a Sig Sauer until 2018, now I own five W German examples.
      Two NR/W police trade-in 9mm Para P225s (P6s), an early 45acp P220, an ex-FBI 45acp P220ST Red Box (2012 factory refurbished), and a Master Shop 9mm Para X5 LDC.
      All are great shooters.

  3. I commend Sig Sauer for their contribution as things stand right now we need all the support from every corner of the globe, this is a giant step in ridding the anti gun politician’s in the past months every where you look seems to be a politician wanting to strip law abiding citizens of their gun rights this contribution from Sig put another nail in their coffin if other Gun manufacture’s would jump on board definitely would cause several tears from the anti gunners, not only is Sig my favorite handgun but is definitely in the fight for us gun owner’s to make damn sure that our 2A rights will never be the Infringed upon, A very big thank you Sig Sauer,
    2A supporter, Freedom
    Protecting son of a gun.

  4. Sig donates a quarter of a million to help defend the 2nd Amendment and a Glock fanboy shows up to whine and criticize. Cause that’s what the 2A needs right now, a bunch of brand tribalists tearing down anything they don’t personally worship, really helps the cause…. (◔_◔)

  5. Donate to Martha McSally as well, senate candidate who is defending seat from gun grabbing Mark Kelly. If she loses it will be a bad move for POTG

  6. So which candidate is going to help is keep our firearms? Don’t pretend Trump won’t take them, because if that’s what makes him feel important at that certain moment he will. Just as he told Bob Woodward how real and dangerous Covid 19 actually was, and then lied to all of us about it. I am less worried about Biden taking my firearms, because he can’t, than what the next crazy thing Trump will do. And if Republicans are upset over Biden, they should not have let Trump go for a second term. Kasich would be fine for me.
