  1. .357 magnum has a lot going for it. It is a great revolver round, and a pretty respectable rifle/carbine round as well. On the other hand, the .44 magnum does it all even better (except practical work in carry snubbies).

    • My dream compact rifle is a stainless lever-action in .44 mag.

      Should be enough for taking out even the peskiest politician, er, I mean ‘wild game’… 🙂

  2. Why so much love for Hornady handgun ammo? I once was on the Hornady train but when I heard about Federal HST, all my Hornady ammo moved to the “shtf probably never going to use stash.” Especially out of sorter barreled pistols HST has the advantage.
