From the CCRKBA:

Nationally-recognized gun rights leader Alan Gottlieb is among several Second Amendment advocates named to the Trump campaign’s “Gun Owners for Trump” advisory panel, the Bellevue, Washington-based activist confirmed.

Gottlieb is chairman of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, a grassroots Second Amendment advocacy organization with some 650,000 members and supporters across the country. He also founded the Second Amendment Foundation and serves as its executive vice president. SAF is a non-profit organization specializing in Second Amendment education and litigation.

The Gun Owners for Trump advisory board includes several well-known names in the firearms community including Olympic gold medalist Kim Rhode, plus Ronnie Barrett, CEO of Barrett Firearms; Rick Ector, CEO at the Firearms Academy of Detroit; Amy Robbins, CEO at Alexo Athletica and TV host; Lanny Barnes, American biathlete; retired Army Sgt. Major Kyle Lamb; Shooting competitor and instructor Gabby Franco; Eye on the Target radio host Amanda Suffecool; author and motivational speaker Marsha Petrie Sue; Neil Hogue, with Hogue Knives and firearms accessories, along with Matthew Gomez, Thibault Bowman, Mia Rhode, Barbara Rumpel, Esther Schneider, Beth Walker and Linda Walker.

“I’m delighted to serve on this important panel along with so many other devoted Second Amendment advocates,” Gottlieb said. “We’ve had time to examine Democrat Joe Biden’s extremist gun control plan—which he didn’t even mention during his acceptance speech—and it is truly alarming how his party is willing to turn a constitutional right into a tightly-regulated government controlled privilege.

“Donald Trump, on the other hand, has fulfilled one of his most important campaign pledges to America’s 100 million gun owners,” he continued. “The president has been filling federal court vacancies with experienced, constitutional judges who understand the Second Amendment means what it says.”

Gun Owners for Trump, according to its website, “will unite gun rights advocates in our mission to protect and defend our Second Amendment rights as enumerated by the Constitution of the United States.”

“With the election just over two months away,” Gottlieb said, “we’re going to work vigorously to see President Trump re-elected to a second term so he may finish the job he started, not only making America great again, but making the Second Amendment great again in the process.”

With more than 650,000 members and supporters nationwide, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (www.ccrkba.org) is one of the nation’s premier gun rights organizations. As a non-profit organization, the Citizens Committee is dedicated to preserving firearms freedoms through active lobbying of elected officials and facilitating grass-roots organization of gun rights activists in local communities throughout the United States.

  1. I am a gun owner for Nobody, I will vote for the duo Nobody/No one 2020. Unlike democrats and republicans, Nobody has never screwed gun owners.

    • Somebody: That vote is a vote for gun control. Don’t be stupid. I didn’t vote for Trump 2016, but I sure as Hell voted against Hillary. Same lesser of two evils this lap. But, better some good than all bad. Don’t cut off your nose to spite your face.

        • Reread his post. He voted against Hillary, which means his ballot was marked for Trump. He still doesn’t like Trump, but he recognizes that he’s a better choice than Biden.

      • Voting for the lesser of 2 evils is still voting for evil.

They’re two ends to the same turd, and don’t bother trying to polish one end.

The system itself is broken at this point if our only options are Tweedle Dee or Tweedle Dum.

In Tennessee, you only need 25 signatures to get on a ticket as a republican or democrat. 275 as an independent. But for any 3rd party? 15,000 signatures required. Most states are like that; the whole electoral process has been co-opted by the status-quo statists in both parties.

        Open your eyes.

        • Well stated and you bring up a good point that many don’t realize. The Democrat-GOP duopoly makes sure that those two are the only game in town, raising the bar high against competition. A lawsuit ought to be made against such nonsense. EVERY party should have to meet the same requirements, period. No preferences.

        • Get your head out of your rectum. If Biden is elected ALL GUNS WILL BE CONFISCATED. Are you ready to shoot it out with them when they knock on your door or will you mutter ” signatures!” as you hand them over, rat out your friends and get down your knees.

          .

      • No. You are wrong. Trump was perfectly okay with the ATF declaring bump stocks to be machine guns. Don’t think that won’t come back to haunt us. If a bump stock is a machine gun, they’ll be declaring semi-automatic rifles the equivalent of bazookas. Not to mention anti-gun Bill Barr.

Voting for less gun control is a losing proposition. Hard to complain about those you voted into office when they stab you in the back and they have done it previously.

The GOP has no principles. They put their finger in the political wind and that’s how they usually march. In Virginia, the GOP was in power for a long time. They would never entertain Constitutional Carry. Thanks, GOP. That would have been much harder for Crook Northam and his Posse to rescind. But no, the GOP couldn’t be bothered. Screw you, GOP. Don’t look for my money or vote. Both parties are corrupt to the core.

      • Some people want us to go directionally toward abiding the constitution again. I know you hate me for it but trump is not the right direction. Will do a write in. I have to vote here to keep away a progressive tax or I wouldn’t vote at all this election.

        • I don’t hate you for it LOL. I’ve voted third party before. I get it. Everyone has their opinions. I’m just saying I stopped applying the purity test, and I’m not a one issue voter.

    • Nobody is better than Trump. Nobody is better than Biden. So say their supporters, so I too shall vote for Nobody, better than everybody except Every individual.

    • My kid brother used to start the same argument everywhere he went, suggesting that presidential ballots should include the option “None of the Above”, and that if that selection wins, the next 4 years go by with no President. Crazy wild discussions!

  2. Trump could, any day, do the following
1: Order the treasury secretary to repeatedly declare an 90 day NFA amensty every so many days
2: Order OSHA to declare prohibitng lawful concealed carry in a workplace creates an unsafe workplace
3: Order the ATF to determine sporting purpose, for both NFA and GCA*, to mean all purposes

    Why hasn’t he

*These two are, currently, not identical standards despite the “law”s using the same wording. Mossberg 590 is sporting purpose under the NFA (it’s not a destructive device), but its bayonet lug would disqualify it from being “sporting purpose” under the GCA

    • They will call you a single issue voter or say you are purity spiralling if you don’t vote for the better central planner

    • “Trump could, any day, do the following
1: Order the treasury secretary to repeatedly declare an 90 day NFA amensty every so many days”

I’d like him to do that, but won’t the Leftists just run to friendly federal judge and get an immediate injunction stopping it?

      • Just declare another one, and another, and another. That’s the wonderful thing about explicitly granted powers.

        • But, wouldn’t the retards get tired of paying for all those injunctions? After a few thousand, for example? Wouldn’t that be unfair? /sarc

  3. I don’t see Wayne on the list, that’s cool. This group existed last time as well, I think John Boch was on it. I don’t know how many times they met, and I don’t think Donald talked to them or took their advice after Parkland. He did a few good things like itar, letting the blocked garands come home, Federal judges though verdict is still out on the Supreme Court.

Some promises not kept, like no more gun free zones day 1, 41F extra requirements get reverted day 1.

And then Bumpstock ban, not supporting silencers, kicking national reciprocity back, offering support for red flags, and generally not giving much vision or support to what he would do for the second amendment. Republicans mostly vow support but don’t give any plan or list of what they hope to accomplish with it.

    • Oh well…I’d say that put the kibosh for the most part on looking for trouble. I’m more on the protect people & property side
I support his actions but WHERE are his parents?!?

      • That’s what I was wondering.

Although if he has transportation and just says he’s going out with friends for a while, then you have no say in where he ends up… And if he ends up a couple hours’ drive away defending civilization against looters and communists, then maybe as a parent, you did something right.

I see that he’s being charged with first-degree murder and fleeing to avoid prosecution. And this despite the fact that he called 911 after the first shooting and tried to give himself up to the police — who ignored him — after shooting the antifa goons who tried to murder him? The evidence is all on his side, but man, I hope his family can get a good lawyer. If the WI state prosecutor is a Democrat, he’s going to go through legal hell.

        • There’s little question as to whether this is simply going to go away with the evidence at hand. As in my own debacle, it’s going to cost them a good bit. Which is bull, as it’s equatable to a fine, without being officially fined.

My financials have already been tuned up by just under $10k, and we’re not even close to the dog & pony trial(s) yet. Fully expecting double, perhaps triple that figure by the end. It’s horseshit, but what can you do?

    • OOoo! More popcorn! So, tonight, will NO defenders show up, or will MANY MORE defenders show up? Much more popcorn.

  4. Is this activity on the 2nd Amendment Coalition? Maybe the beginnings of working group for Manchin-Toomey Bill Part 2? Things get so confusing!

  5. Biden/Harris subscribe to a philosophy that wants to end human civilization. That’s what happens if you succeed in doing what the leftist want.

The Libertarian party doesn’t have a snowballs chance in hell. They have 4 years to make something of themselves if they can get past the corruption of the election system crated by the Rs and Ds.

If you are in a state that is sure to go democrat no matter what then vote for whoever you want. if you are in a state that could go either way please vote Trump. He is our rodeo clown. He is keeping the leftist bull off of us. In 4 years you will get another chance to run a Republican or Libertarian you like. Right now it’s Trump or bust.

  6. You people muttering ” 2 party is bad, meh” are stupid OR CLOSET BIDEN supporters. hope you’re the first to be disarmed. You’re not smart enough to fight for freedom.
