Kyle Rittenhouse Continues to Fight Extradition to Wisconsin

A 17-year-old accused of killing two protesters days after Jacob Blake was shot by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, remains in custody in his home state of Illinois as his attorneys fight efforts to send him to Wisconsin to stand trial on homicide charges.

Kyle Rittenhouse appeared on a video stream and wore a face mask during a brief court hearing Friday morning in Lake County, Illinois. Judge Paul Novak scheduled an Oct. 30 hearing on the extradition request, though prosecutors told Novak they were prepared to move faster.

“The law is pretty clear cut on this,” Lake County Assistant State’s Attorney Stephen Scheller said. “This case has been dragging on now, we’re already into October. … We want a hearing as soon as possible.”

John Pierce, an attorney for Rittenhouse, said there was “no reason to rush” and questioned Wisconsin prosecutors’ motivation for pursuing the charges.

“This is a very unique, extraordinary situation,” Pierce said. “There is a massive amount of video evidence that shows beyond a shadow of a doubt this is not a legitimate criminal prosecution, it is a political prosecution.”

In court records filed late Thursday, Rittenhouse’s attorneys argued that he was acting in self-defense and extraditing him to Wisconsin authorities would violate his constitutional rights.

They also argued that Wisconsin prosecutors and Illinois authorities didn’t follow legal technicalities required for extradition. Angelina Gabriele, Kenosha County’s deputy district attorney, said Friday the county’s documents “are in compliance with all legal requirements and their other claims do not have any legal merit.”

Extradition is typically a straightforward process, and legal experts have expressed doubt that Rittenhouse’s attorneys could successfully prevent a court from sending him to Wisconsin to face charges there.

His arrest has become a rallying point for some on the right, with a legal defense fund that has attracted millions in donations. But others see Rittenhouse as a domestic terrorist whose presence with a rifle incited the protesters.

The document echoes attorneys’ previous portrayal of Rittenhouse as a courageous patriot who was exercising his right to bear arms during unrest over the shooting of Blake, who is black.

Extraditing Rittenhouse, they claim, “would be to turn him over to the mob.”

“The premature and unsupported charges are contributing to unwarranted public condemnation,” attorneys wrote. “Rittenhouse has been publicly branded a ‘mass murderer,’ a ‘terrorist,’ a ‘racist,’ and more.”

Rittenhouse surrendered to police in his hometown of Antioch, Illinois, a day after prosecutors say he shot and killed two protesters and injured a third during unrest on the streets of Kenosha on Aug. 25 over Blake’s shooting.

Rittenhouse, who is white, is charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the killing of two white protesters and attempted intentional homicide in the wounding of a third. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of underage firearm possession for wielding a semi-automatic rifle.

Like Rittenhouse, the two men killed and the third man wounded were or are white. If convicted of first-degree homicide, Rittenhouse would be sentenced to life in prison.

Legal experts had questioned what basis Rittenhouse’s attorneys could use to fight his extradition, which is usually an uncontested step. Mike Nerheim, the Lake County state’s attorney, has said that Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed a warrant to return Rittenhouse to Wisconsin after a request from Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, a fellow Democrat.

The killings happened amid protests on Kenosha’s streets two days after a white police officer shot Blake seven times in the back, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down and sparking outrage after video of the shooting was posted online. A Wisconsin Department of Justice investigation into that shooting is ongoing. The three responding officers are on administrative leave.

According to prosecutors and court documents, Rittenhouse shot and killed 36-year-old Joseph Rosenbaum, of Kenosha, after Rosenbaum threw a plastic bag at Rittenhouse, missing him, and tried to wrestle his rifle away.

While trying to get away in the immediate aftermath, Rittenhouse was captured on cellphone video saying “I just killed somebody.” According to the complaint filed by prosecutors, someone in the crowd said, “Beat him up!” and another yelled, “Get him! Get that dude!”

Video shows that Rittenhouse tripped in the street. As he was on the ground, 26-year-old Anthony Huber, of Silver Lake, hit him with a skateboard and tried to take his rifle away. Rittenhouse opened fire, killing Huber and wounding Gaige Grosskreutz, of West Allis, who was holding a handgun.

Rittenhouse’s extradition would not be an issue if he had been arrested in Kenosha the night of the shootings. Cellphone video that captured some of the action shows that right after the shootings, Rittenhouse walked slowly toward a police vehicle with his hands up, only to be waved through by police.

He returned to his Illinois home and turned himself in soon after. Police later blamed the chaotic conditions for why they didn’t arrest Rittenhouse at the scene.

The kid was justified in defending himself. Remember these cases are decided on a moment by moment analysis, unless it is a police shooting in which case the effort is first to clear the officer.

So yes, he’s innocent of murder.

Beyond that he is a stupid child who had no business playing militia, by himself with no training or support of others, in the chaotic streets. He is too damned stupid to own or carry firearms. Perhaps another eight years of growing up would help.

Rittenhouse should have been home with his momma, not playing a live action adventure game.

    Meanwhile, back on the ranch…

    1. avatar pcn says:

What a ridiculous comment. Research a little before you post, especially regarding his training. Lucky for you, posting on the internet has no “too damned stupid” exclusion.

I was fighting in a war and killing other people at the same age. He is also not a stupid child and did remarkably well considering the circumstances. I bet you’re the type that blames rape victims for being raped because they were dressed like a slut.

I’ll take ten young men like Kyle any day to staff my local militia. Just one of them, even, to assist in my street’s neighborhood watch.

      1. avatar Ed Schrade says:

Amen to that. It’s good that someone was trying to defend property and people while the police , sitting down the street, just watched chaos and did nothing. It’s not about protecting the public’s safety and property anymore, it’s about obeying the damned mayor.

        1. avatar PMinFl says:

Ed must be a carpenter cause he just hit the nail on the head. Thank you.

    4. avatar WARFAB says:

Lack of support is a valid critique, but lack of training is not. The only critique I’ve ever seen about his weapons handling that night is that he didn’t put a second round in the still armed (no pun intended) Gaige Grosskreutz.

I wonder just how many in the so called “gun community” who are against kids training with guns. In fact have to children of their own???
Or are against kids who open carry???

    7. avatar Garrison Hall says:

Rather than being the “stupid child” you refer to, I think Rittenhouse showed the kind of coolness under attack that people with combat experience would admire. Yes, he used his weapon to defend himself but unlike so many people much older then his 17 years, he didn’t panic, didn’t start spraying the attacking mob with 5.56 rounds from his 30 round magazine. Instead, lying on his back, being approached by multiple assailants, he kept control of his weapon, exercised responsible trigger-control firing only at people who directly attacked him, then attempted to surrender to the police.
I think he displayed a kind of emotional maturity his attackers surely lacked. There aren’t many people twice his age that could have done what he did.

      1. avatar EWTHeckman says:

        ^^^ THIS!! ^^^

His actions demonstrated beyond a reasonable doubt that he was no “stupid child.”

        1. avatar George Washington says:

The fact still remains… HE IS JUST A STUPID ADOLESCENT CHILD!!…..
And he did what any brave human would do… he defended himself with deadly force….
          STILL A MINOR….

        2. avatar EWTHeckman says:

The fact still remains… HE IS JUST A STUPID ADOLESCENT CHILD!!…..

Wow. What a perfect demonstration of projection!

        3. avatar doesky2 says:

“The fact still remains… HE IS JUST A STUPID ADOLESCENT CHILD!!”

Only idiots don’t understand that people can demonstrate maturity beyond their age.

Yes the typical teenager in America are imbeciles due to the standard leftist indoctrination that they receive for 12+ years.

But in Kyles specific case he comported himself well beyond his age.

        4. avatar George Washington says:

Doesn’t matter….. still a child….. and that means IF ANYTHING he be tried as a minor!

      2. avatar LarryinTX says:

Yeah, I must admit that after “disarming” the doofus (who has not been charged for what was obviously attempted murder), I would quite likely have been firing on everyone whose back was not to me. ARs are not quiet, everyone around had heard the shots, if you are still coming toward me you need shooting. Kyle did good. Better than I would have.

    8. avatar Chris A says:

Thank you for the list of individuals that need voted out of office, or ostracized from society.

    9. avatar EWTHeckman says:

…by himself with no training or support of others…

Don’t you ever get tired of being ridiculously wrong? Kyle was not there “by himself.” He was with others almost all day. The only reason he got separated from his group was because he was offering medical aid to everyone who needed it! During that time the police moved their line, cutting Kyle off from his group. (Yes, there is video of the police telling him he could not go back.)

Even then, there was a reporter from Daily Caller with him most of the time. That reporter is the one who first started attending to the hothead that had attacked Kyle first.

He worked in that city as a lifeguard. He had medical training. He was there to HELP people!

Or is it your claim that the only people allowed to be there are rioters? (They came even further than Kyle did.)

    10. avatar The Crimson Pirate says:

The guys he was with defending the gas station should have been supporting him and covering his retreat. We need a lot more like him out on the streets with guns.

We need more citizens not only protecting their own businesses and businesses in their community, but shooting rioters in defense of other businesses.

    11. avatar Vic Nighthorse says:

Enuf – What training and or experience in rifle combat have you had to feel confident publicly criticizing someone else’s performance under very real and difficult circumstances?

    12. avatar Ark says:

Rittenhouse did nothing wrong. I wish we had 100,000 more like him, facing down these rampaging BLM assholes wherever they show their faces. The problem would be solved in a day. Kyle is a hero for standing up and showing the violent criminal pride parade that we’re not going to take it anymore.

    13. avatar Liberal Smacker says:

Enuf, you are an ignorant piece of crap. Go educate yourself as you are intellectually and emotionally immature and the adults are having a conversation. Kyle is 10 times the man you will ever be.

      1. avatar George Washington says:

Go post somewhere else, Leftist Trolling idiot.

    15. avatar Paul says:

      You make one valid point.

“by himself with . . . no support of others,”

Kyle’s mates failed him, in that they allowed him to face these goons and thugs alone. I have not seen any satisfactory explanations for him being alone. His elders and his mates should have had his back, and for whatever reason, they did not.

Age? Historically, it’s always the young who bear the burden when violence breaks out. If Kyle had grown up Iraq, instead of the US, our own military forces would categorize him as a “military aged male”.

Maybe you had the luxury of staying at home with Mommy until you were over 21 years of age. Many who post on this forum didn’t have, or didn’t exercise that privilege or luxury.

And, finally, you will have to admit that according to the Constitution of the United States of America, Kyle was, and still is, a member of the militia. All able bodied males between the ages of 17 and 40, I believe it is. Kyle was exactly where he belonged.

    16. avatar Joseph says:

Exactly how many police shootings have you investigated? Just wondering what makes you an expert on the subject. The stupid is stunning.

    17. avatar GluteusMaximus says:

I oddly agree with everything you said except forbidding him firearm ownership. You are insufferable. You really know what’s best for people you don’t know. You might as well admit you are a leftist

    18. avatar R. Corrino says:

He’s old enough to carry a weapon and possibly die, wherever the US government may send him were he in the military, he is old enough to do the same in his country as a citizen.

If he were black, he would be free by now… there is your example of systemic racism.

  2. avatar WARFAB says:

“But others see Rittenhouse as a domestic terrorist whose presence with a rifle incited the protesters.”

For a sane group of people, the presence of a rifle would no “incite” them to violence. Sane, rational people would be dissuaded from violence among those openly bearing arms. But we’re not dealing with sane people. We’re dealing with people operating under media generated delusions who decided to put their lives at risk in the role of expendable useful idiots for a political agenda that doesn’t give a damn about them.

  3. avatar Brodirt says:

We’ve said too much about Kyle already, he’s a victim here.
The more important issue here is that this illustrates the dangers of allowing a mob to control the streets.

“According to prosecutors and court documents, Rittenhouse shot and killed 36-year-old Joseph Rosenbaum, of Kenosha, after Rosenbaum threw a plastic bag at Rittenhouse, missing him, and tried to wrestle his rifle away.“

Yes, the dreaded plastic bag assault, clearly a lethal weapon.
More than enough justification for Kyle to point his rifle at him and force the protester to wrestle with him for the gun.

Does anyone here remember a young man named Armaud Arbery?

We will let the judge and jury sort this all out, as directed by the United States Constitution.

    1. avatar Montana Actual says:

Prove he pointed it before being assaulted.

Then, take a look at all the video showing that same assaulter try multiple times to provoke Kyle and try to “fight” him.

You get no sympathy here miner. We carry to avoid a fight. If the assaulter was smarter and not trying to fight someone with a self defense mindset, he’d still be alive. Trying to fight someone because they exist and you don’t like it does not give you the right to continue pursuing them and harassing them. It also just makes you a shitty violent person. What’s that say about you for trying to defend someone like that?

      Yea. Go fuck yourself.

If you view all of the video prior to Rosenbaum being shot, you’ll see that plastic bag multiple times. At one point, it seems to have held a 12 ounce can of coke or similar. It had a few other unidentifiable items throughout the night – maybe snacks and crap. At the moment it was flung at Kyle, it seems to have had a plastic bottle of water, maybe 1/4 full, with some other unidentifiable items. All relatively light weight, but they may have done some damage if the bag had hit Kyle with any speed.

    4. avatar EWTHeckman says:

The bag was clearly not empty, dummy.

It was thrown as Kyle was running away from his attacker. That hothead continued his attack after the throw and was trying to tackle Kyle when Kyle had to fire in self-defense.

Incited? They were destroying cities long before men with self protection showed up. What “incited” them before? The rifle IS a deterrent. It worked. Sometimes the trigger has to be pulled for the simple minded to undesratand the deterrent and when you harass, chase, assault, and assume an instant vigilante stance, the trigger is most definitely going to get pulled. Too many cases where people who pursued others became the attackers and this case involves video evidence of multiple people attempting to murder someone running for their life after already utilizing the method of self defense they should have seen as a deterrent in the first place. I just don’t understand how a “victim” can be exposed for saying they only thing they regret is not putting a bullet in Kyle’s head and nothing happens. These people are insane. Brainwashed. If the local government and local police had been doing their jobs, there would have been no need for people like Rittenhouse to be there protecting businesses. Antifa and BLM can only operate with the full cooperation of local governments and local police, and the fact that they’ve tried to prosecute practically everyone who defends themselves from Antifa and BLM while allowing Maxist thugs to go free proves it. If they keep doing it, mayors, prosecutors, and other local officials will eventually be on the receiving end of a lynch mob.

    1. avatar EWTHeckman says:

Yep. Notice what happens when those in the justice system actually prosecute the rioters, like in Lancaster, PA.

      1. avatar Montana Actual says:

        Now this is happening

    2. avatar Tired of the bs says:

I hope everyone is keeping a list of their local aholes. The time may come when it becomes useful. Maybe even election day.

  9. avatar FedUp says:

I just love it when ‘legal experts’ tell us that extradition fights are usually based on ‘there was no crime’ or ‘somebody else committed the crime’ and claim that neither of those arguments could possibly apply to Kyle.

    1. Self defense, especially reluctant self defense after failed attempts to disengage, is not a crime.

    2. Those who Kyle was force to defend himself from were committing criminal assault (Rosenbaum) and attempted murder (Huber and Grosskreutz), so yes, Kyle wasn’t the one committing the crimes.

  10. avatar Daniel Silverman says:

After watching all the video evidence I can find, this entire case is about as clear as I have seen for self defense. He pretty much checked off all possible check marks to remove himself from the situation first.
He doesn’t deserve to be sitting in jail. I agree fight the extradition. Fight it on all fronts.
    The charges are ridiculous.
Once they get tossed I hope he sues the hell out of the DA’s office, and Biden and everyone else who defamed him.

    1. avatar Manse Jolly says:

I agree. The DA is forcing Kyle to take the ride because it’s Political.

The DA has Immunity I think?

      1. avatar Mercury says:

DAs, like most government employees are immune from civil suits unless the harm came from negligence. In this case, however, it’s criminal malfeasance, which is a different process and requires the cooperation of the state’s congress.

So good luck with that. Making that Tree of Liberty grow would require some Watering.

      2. avatar FedUp says:

The DA has absolute immunity, but that can be broken when the DA has clearly operated in a criminal fashion.

        For example, take Mike Nifong:

I believe that the DA, Associate DA, and Assistant DA involved in this case are no better than Nifong, but the average judge might disagree with me.

    2. avatar FedUp says:

No only is the video clear, the police report clearly lays out a self defense incident.
Making it all the more ridiculous that the DA’s office submitted the police report as their probable cause statement for first degree homicide charges.

      He was threatened.
      He ran away.
      He was cornered.
      He was attacked.
      He defended himself.
      He ran away again.
      He was caught and mobbed.
Somebody tried to kick his head off.
Somebody tried to open his skull with a skateboard.
Somebody pulled a gun on him.
      He defended himself again.

All of the above are my interpretation of the steps laid out in the DA’s probable cause statement in the charging documents. It reads like a defense attorney would write it.

      1. avatar possum says:

Yes but he had a gunm. You can’t defend yourself with a gunm in America, you defend yourself with a lawyer. When chased by an angry mob whom seem intent on causing death or injury you sing out, “Stop, or I’ will sue!”

        1. avatar Montana Actual says:

          “I have you on video!”

        2. avatar James Campbell says:

Hey Possum, are you allowed to point your lawyer at them?

        3. avatar Montana Actual says:

          It’s obviously brandishing, James.

  11. avatar NORDNEG says:

  12. avatar Dude says:

Have the investigators determined who was shooting as Kyle was running from crazy skin head dude? Have the investigators determined the identity of the man shown in the above picture assaulting Kyle? Have they filed any charges against these people?

    1. avatar FedUp says:

I’m sure Kenosha County LE knows by now exactly who Joshua Joseph Ziminski is, along with his aliases. But it appears they don’t care.

  13. avatar Chris T in KY says:

Every American child should have 2A education and rifle teams in HS. And that 2A education should go from K to 12th grade. All PT classes should include “rifle PT”.
Because it seems Kyle has been doing “Rifle PT” for a while now.

    1. avatar possum says:

Do what??? This isn’t Isreal, gunms in skewl, your funny.

      1. avatar Chris T in KY says:

While in the Army I used real rifles. Not airsoft guns. And our Rifle PT lasted much longer and was far more strenuous. Perhaps Elk hunters need to do this to get prepared?
        video 5 min long

        1. avatar Paul says:

M-1 in boot camp, M-14 after boot. An M-16 weighs a bit less than either. That probably means you last two minutes longer before it’s just too damned heavy to hold over your head any longer. But, yeah, everyone needs to do the manual of arms until they drop, starting around 10th grade in high school.

  14. avatar possum says:

Looks like KR has a black eye in that picture. Wonder if that happened during the assault or in jail. I kinda doubt in jail, he’s probably in solitary and I doubt a jailor punched him. I wonder if Kyle would like a do over?, I really feel sorry for this guy. Being locked up aint no fun, then sitting there with nothing to do, stewing over what’s to come, I’d be puke sick. Boycott cheese, free Kyle

    1. avatar FedUp says:

That pic was from the September 25 hearing.
Do black eyes last 31 days? If so, who gave it to him, Rosenbaum?

Anyway, today’s hearing was a nothingburger.
      Hearing will resume October 30.

  15. avatar GB says:

Look at the picture of the guy hitting him with the skateboard. He didn’t overhand it to hit him with the deck. He’s holding on to the rear truck and tried to hit KR in the head with the toe.
He didn’t swing it like a bat, he aimed it like a spear.

    1. avatar Geoff "I'm getting too old for this shit" PR says:

Holding on to the rear truck (what the wheels are mounted to, for those not ‘up’ on skateboard lingo) creates a ‘pivot point’, turning the arm and skateboard combination into something like a nunchuck, amplifying the velocity of the skateboard.

A thug with a skateboard has an effective melee weapon…

      1. avatar LarryinTX says:

Which just *might* be why he brought it along to a midnight riot, do ya think? Do we have video of him skating, or only assaulting?

        1. avatar Jim Bob says:

Lot of skaters in Antifa and BLM.

        2. avatar Montana Actual says:

James Klug points out in many of his confrontations with these clowns that people are not carrying hockey sticks to play hockey. Sometimes he is able to have reasonable conversations with people who show up and are willing to stand in front of the assholes and let him speak, other times he is out right assaulted. EIther way, nobody carries stuff like that to protest “peacefully”. Yet when an actual peaceful protest with rifles goes down, they call us racist fascists and violent. I’d be all for these clowns showing up open carrying more often, more of an opportunity to thin the heard when they start shooting unjustifiably and start getting killed by people actually defending themselves. We all know it’s coming. They are open carrying and bashing in neighborhood windows now just asking for it. So give it to them. If cops knew what was good for them, they’d just stay the fuck out of the way.

  16. avatar Elmer Fudd says:

All of this anarchy, death and destruction could have been avoided if the Kenosha police had simply allowed Robert Blake to continue assaulting the woman that he had raped then proceed, knife in hand, to her vehicle that her children were in. FBI crime statistics offer indisputable proof that most young children (12 and under) who are murdered are murdered by either mommy, daddy, or mommy’s boyfriend. It is also indisputable that African-American children are far more likely to be murdered by mommy or mommy’s boyfriend than White children. The officers should have ignored these objective realities. They should have allowed Robert Blake to proceed with the abduction. In the highly likely event that the children turned up murdered (no doubt stabbed to death rather than the usual beatings, bludgeonings, our strangulations that mommies and mommies boyfriends usually employ to murder children), the deaths of those children would have been just another example of evolution in action. The police would have been criticized for their refusal to protect the children. However; there would be no hoards of rioters looting, vandalizing, and burning Kenosha to the ground. We can be assured that VP candidate Senator Cameltoe Harris would not travel to Kenosha to do a photo op with the grieving mother.

    1. avatar LarryinTX says:

“Hordes”. But that was pretty good!

    2. avatar Jim Bob says:

I’m sure Elmer is tongue-in-cheek, but all small children, regardless of color, are innocent and deserve protection.

  17. avatar AR Libertarian says:

A 17-year-old accused of killing two **protesters** RIOTERS

There AP, fixed it for you.

August 25, 11:48 p.m.: 1st shooting … because I always protest racism and police brutality at midnight on a Tuesday.

    1. avatar EWTHeckman says:

That isn’t the only ridiculous level of slant in that article.

“opened fire” – as if he was spraying and praying.

“accused of killing two” – not in doubt. It’s the political railroading that’s the real issue.

At least the article admits that Hothead #1 “tried to wrestle his rifle away” and that the mob was shouting “get him.”

    2. avatar Hannibal says:

Not to mention that the media is currently trying to pivot and pretend that the serial rapist he killed wasn’t a ‘protester’ and just happened to be there.

  18. avatar former water walker says:

Kyle did good…the leftard media is arrayed against him so send him $ and petition Almighty GOD for his release!

  19. avatar Jonathan-Houston says:

Enough pussy footing. Put him in cuffs and put him on the bus back to the scene of the [alleged] crimes. Two people are dead and they deserve justice.

Now, that justice may be that he pleads his case and the jury concludes this killer was justified. So be it. So do it. Quit hiding.

    1. avatar GS650G says:

      Justice was already handed our.

      1. avatar CarlosT says:

Exactly, people were trying to commit assault and battery (at best), the victim tried over and over to escape, and as a last resort, defended himself.

There’s nothing more to do here, except let him go.

    2. avatar Montana Actual says:

      lol wut?

    3. avatar Hannibal says:

      So you support lynching?

Because, newsflash, that is what is being attempted here. And that’s one reason why we actually have rules for extradition that are supposed to be followed.

  20. avatar Ben Willard says:

Long article, lots of information…except the FACT that the killed and wounded have extensive criminal records.

    1. avatar PM in Fl. says:

Ben, while I don’t subscribe to the notion that past actions indicate future ones, I must agree to point out that antifa anarchists and blm marxist attract sociopaths and low life losers as followers.

    2. avatar CarlosT says:

Not really relevant. The relevant fact is, at that moment, they were trying to seriously injure or kill Kyle. They could have spent every previous moment of their lives caring for the needy, but since it’s true that what they were doing at the time, Kyle was legitimately defending himself, and that all that matters.

  21. avatar Aboobubba says:

I heard that the two people who were fatally shot were both choir boys at Sunday services and that each had taken time to visit the elderly in a local nursing home where they entertained the residents with their wit and charm. The videos clearly show those two noble citizens were only trying to make their way through a few peaceful protesters to bring milk and cookies to the neighborhood homeless shelter. The real tragedy is the loss of the milk and cookies. We’re in the middle of a pandemic, don’t you know.

  22. avatar GS650G says:

I don’t think Kyle would be safe in their custody. His attorney probably agrees. These people are not only ruthless they have friends in high places.

    1. avatar FedUp says:

The Marxists, at least the sane ones, know he can’t be convicted. So a nonzero number of them want him to go away like Jeff Epstein and will help him do it.

      1. avatar jwm says:

Sane Marxists? Isn’t that an oxymoron?

  23. avatar red wolf says:

Sincerely hope this cop worshiping punk dies in prison.

    1. avatar jwm says:

miner49er. Have the balls to post under your regular name. I know you’re grieving over the loss of your pedo buddy, but man up.

    2. avatar Montana Actual says:

cop worshiping? Because he was trying to prevent destruction of peoples businesses he is a bootlicker? Also, you sound like a lovely person. If these people showed up on your property you would shit bricks.

    3. avatar anonymous says:

Red Wolf would be begging and pleading on his hands and knees ready to EAD in exchange for the cops to arrive to help him out if Antifa/BLM were on his doorstep destroying everything he owns.

    4. avatar GS650G says:

“Sincerely hope this cop worshiping punk dies in prison”
you were probably there and he missed ending your miserable existence.

Better luck next time we hope.

  24. avatar Hannibal says:

I wonder if they are actually hoping to beat the extradition or are just trying to delay more and more to see if better evidence comes out or things cool down. It’s clear it’s a complete political hit job but every week it fades more and more… perhaps because the press can’t do as much now that it’s impossible to ignore that of the people he killed one was a serial rapist of children and the other was a domestic abuser convicted of, among other things, strangulation.

    1. avatar James Campbell says:

Free Kyle, lock up the DA.
      Trump/Pence 2020

      1. avatar Hannibal says:

Can’t lock up the DA unless you upend prosecutorial (complete!) immunity. I haven’t heard ANY politician from the dems or GOP trying to do that.

Maybe because their own immunity might be questioned…

  25. avatar Unrepentant Libertarian says:

Boy, the leftist trolls are out tonight. They are demanding Kyle be sent to a kangaroo court. After all, Democratic pols. are just “birds of a feather’.

    1. avatar James Campbell says:

Just tell them to F’ OFF!
      And give them a Trump/Pence 2020
Their moms will have lots of poo to clean off the basement walls tomorrow.

    2. avatar Chris T in KY says:

It’s what Leftist rolls do. They are terrified a trained American child showed the world how to defend yourself.

  26. avatar Bemused Berserker says:

The only thing Kyle is guilty of, is a misplaced concern for the injured rioters, and that is not a crime. This concern led him into harm’s way. While we think of this concern (and it illustrates what a fine young man he is), as a virtue, from a tactical and personal safety perspective, it’s not a virtue.
Never approach a mob on your own, as doing so is a recipe for disaster no matter what is happening. Had Kyle teamed with at least one more defender (2 or more would be preferable), it’s possible and probable the crowd would have less inclined to get physical with more defenders on hand.
It’s a cold hard reality, but rioters/mobs will always attack you in one way or another, and will view you as the enemy and not a good samaritan.

    Free Kyle now!

  27. avatar anonymous says:

We should clone Kyle Rittenhouse – put 20 of them in every rioting city. Problem would solve itself.

  28. avatar Mike Carbine says:

What kind of jury is going to weigh his future. Lefty Town in a Dem state? Dragging this out helps how? Kid is screwed no matter how this goes down. His mamma & friends better keep em close, lot of cases like this, they end up punching their own ticket from the stress, public hate, press watching em for the rest of his life, if freed. Not a lot of employers want that kind of exposure either.
Known too many vets who went down this kind of path, pray for Kyle with me people.

    1. avatar Montana Actual says:

WHEN kyle gets freed he will sue and win millions. The rest of his life he will be a public figure and advocate for the pro 2a crowd, you know, the ones who actually show the fuck up and not just send a check to the NRA hoping for the best… This dude never planned on Larping like his homies that showed up with him. He was in zero fuck around mode the entire time. Starting with putting out fire and ending with taking out the trash.

  29. avatar borg says:

It seems that Wisconsin is prosecuting him on the basis of his race in full view of the public.
