How many times has the Campaign to Stop Gun Violence called people protecting the Second Amendment traitors?  Insurrectionists? Enemies? Everything else they can think of? Comments under their posts have called for gun owners to be put into camps, and talked about how wonderful it would be to see us all killed. And they put this up? If they didn’t have double standards, they’d have no standards at all.

  1. Thanks to the CSGV and the rest of the lunatic left, the country is already totally wrecked. It’s up to us to put it back together again.

    • Along with the quiet concurrence of the establishment Republicans sucking up to the Chamber of Commerce, who view all those illegal aliens as potential cheap labor citizens. Doubt that? How many Republicans promised us a fence on the Mexico border? Did it get built? How many of those same Republicans keep trying to boost the H1b visas, even with all the fraud in those programs?

  2. People exercising their natural, constitutionally protected rights in a manner that causes no harm to anyone else are not “enemies”.

People who would use the power of the state to prevent other people from exercising their natural, constitutionally protected rights are, in fact, “enemies”. They are enemies of liberty, and they are enemies of our constitutional republic.

  3. the post they made a couple weeks ago shows just how far they go to whip their audience into a foaming frenzy.
they asked “how many times an gun advocate has told you they hope to see your family get raped and murdered?”
i really think they could use an audit of their content writers. so much of it reeks of multiple personalities and flip-flopping. they like to pretend they’re not supporting all-out confiscation (for the children), and then post inflammatory crap berating gun owners.
oh, well. light a candle, grab some popcorn and sit down with the comments. just don’t engage.

  4. A group of hypocrites (the CSGV) quoting one of the biggest hypocrites in the country (Molly Ivins)? Looks like business as usual to me.

  5. Who cares.

If we (we’ll) all lose, then the goal is to lose last. Keep your guns so that you and yours will lose last.

At least we aren’t trying to take away their guns, THAT would be hypocritical (and fun, but definitely hypocritical).

    • Reading the garbage made me feel dumb. I bet all of those people who made comments have a fetish for some kind of object in their lives, yet they don’t want to admit it. They also make wild, baseless assumptions and state it as fact.

      • Yeah. I can only read so much at a time myself before my brain feels like it is going to implode. How many of them are glued to their cell phones all day long and panic if away from it for 5 minutes?

    • I didn’t bother to read much. It’s all the same basic crap: gun owners are fearful men compensating for their “small penises” and other insecurities.

They banned me from commenting so I can’t say much more.

  6. I’m waiting for all of these people in the CSGV comments section to step up and make the decision to be the first person in a stack and start confiscating. Until then, they can just shut the hell up as a bunch of wannabe keyboard commandos.

  7. How appropriate that they are quoting one of the most arrogant, smugly combative, one-dimensional harpies who ever put pen to paper.

  8. I mean this with sincerety, to hell with those gun-grabbing scum. Yeah, I count them as my enemies, just like all who wish to destroy a Constitutional right. I spent 20 years in uniform defending this nation, what has she done for it?

  9. If the PTB are not kept in check, owning a firearm, or wanting to own a firearm will eventually be a coded psychiatric disorder.

  10. “Quotes on the Second Amendment:

“On every question of construction (of the Constitution) let us carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or invented against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed.” (Thomas Jefferson, letter to William Johnson, June 12, 1823, The Complete Jefferson, p. 322)

“No Free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.” (Thomas Jefferson, Proposal to Virginia Constitution, 1 T. Jefferson Papers, 334,[C.J. Boyd, Ed., 1950] )

“And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms…. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” (Thomas Jefferson in a letter to William S. Smith in 1787. Taken from Jefferson, On Democracy 20, S. Padover ed., 1939)

“A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise, and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks. (Thomas Jefferson, Encyclopedia of T. Jefferson, 318 [Foley, Ed., reissued 1967]; Thomas Jefferson to Peter Carr, 1785. The Writings of Thomas Jefferson, [Memorial Edition] Lipscomb and Bergh, editors)

“What country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance. Let them take arms.” (Thomas Jefferson to James Madison, Dec. 20, 1787, in Papers of Jefferson, ed. Boyd et al.)

“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms…disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes…. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” (Jefferson’s “Commonplace Book,” 1774-1776, quoting from On Crimes and Punishment, by criminologist Cesare Beccaria, 1764)

“We established however some, although not all, its [self-government] important principles. The constitutions of most of our States assert, that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves, in all cases to which they think themselves competent, (as in electing their functionaries executive and legislative, and deciding by a jury of themselves, in all judiciary cases in which any fact is involved,) or they may act by representatives, freely and equally chosen; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed…” (Thomas Jefferson to John Cartwright, 1824. Memorial Edition 16:45, Lipscomb and Bergh, editors)” http://www.madisonbrigade.com/t_jefferson.htm

  11. These are the same people who think you can prevent planes from crashing by simply revoking the Law of Gravity.

  12. Gee Molly, what do you think the Demoncraps have been stating for the last 7 years that they have effectively controlled the government?

    • Well, in her defense, Molly has been dead for part, if not all, of those last 7 years. But then, she made enough thoroughly partisan, divisive statements herself to last an eternity.

  13. I could look an Anti straight in the eye and say, “okay, so lets image no gun or piece of ammo can be held by an American, the 2A is effectively dead. Do you believe murderers would stop using firearms?” You know they would say yes. And then it would be acceptable to start laughing at them, shaking your head, and walk away.

    • I would almost think the appropriate response back to them should be a punch in the nose. proof that guns aren’t the cause of violence.

  14. Or we can suggest they place a sign on their lawn (I will pay for them) declaring said homes as gun free zones and guns are not welcome. I cannot wait to watch the carnage on cable

  15. The statist are just being coy, and they have realized that their artificial and irrational fear of gun owners, triggered a very real fear of their statist intentions among gun owning Americans.

Many in America do not want to tolerate other groups beliefs or rights any longer, and are using the government as their hired guns, which is against the ideals of which America was born. Thankfully the tools that forged Americas freedom are still in the hands of Americans, who have said Screw You and Come Take It.

  16. Anyone notice when the lefties start complaining about “polarization” and whining for “civility” its because they are losing? Fvck you Molly, and the One, and the Littlest Nanny, and all your fellow-travelers. You are almost done, on the trash heap of history.

  17. So Molly isn’t a big fan of BHO or Hillary? Good to hear. Perhaps she’ll vote for a conservative/libertarian/republican in the next presidential election.
