While at the NRAAM in Dallas I had the chance to play with the new B&T APC9 SD. Like all things B&T it just oozes quality.

Many of the newer guns that claim to be integrally suppressed really just have a reflex suppressor that screws on the barrel and a rear bulkhead. Not the APC9 SD. It’s truly integrally suppressed, ported barrel and all. The APC9 SD will slow a supersonic 9mm round to sub-sonic velocities which should produce a very quiet gun.

The integrated front and rear sights are nice, however they take up a fair amount of rail  space. The ACP9SD is available now, street price is $2,325. Yes, you can get it with a brace and yes it can take GLOCK mags (by changing lowers).

System: Closed bolt blow back
Operation: Semi-automatic
Caliber: 9 x 19 mm
Barrel length: Cold Hammer Forged 5.74 in. (146 mm)
Barrel twist: 1:10 RH
Sound suppression: B&T MP5/APC9 SD sound suppressor
Sights: Integral flush-profile flip-up
Charging handle: Right/Left interchangeable
Handling: Ambidextrous safety selector, magazine release and bolt hold open
Pistol grip feature: Integral storage
Buttcap feature: Dual-feature B&T folding stock adapter/AR buffer tube adapter with QD swivel sling loop
Included: One 30 round magazine, sling, cleaning kit, manual, hard case

Basically it’s a standard APC with a short-barrel that is ported and has a huge suppressor over it.

  1. Plus $200 tax stamp…plus fingerprints and photo…plus how many months wait?
Why can’t we have an instant check for these items?
Maybe run them through NSA, FBI and Interpol instead of the ATF.

      • What a maroon! Clearly the answer is Orange because fuzzy snozzberries taste like 10 and a half point three.

    • Sicking 9mm mags in AR style hardware looks too homemade to justify a $2k plus price-tag. The Kel-Tec Sub2000 sells for a third of that price and looks lots cooler.

  2. Oh my gawdd!!! They’re breeding like flies, another Evil Black AsSalt Rifle, I can’t kill them fast enuff,,,quick torch it before it reproduces….. They are taking over, eeeeeeyahh

  3. Keeping 147gr subsonic might be an admirable goal, but who wants a carbine that depowers 115gr to subsonic velocities?

  4. Every listing I’ve seen for this gun does not include the suppressor. How does that work? Does that mean it can’t be fired until you get the suppressor? Is there a 1 stamp SBR suppressed version?
