I have their base model holster (the one with the elastic) and it is the best 30 dollar holster I can find. It holds almost any gun and fits perfectly.
Don’t know why I just get myself to bite on the elastic, I just can’t see it having good retention… Probably an unfounded fear on my part…
I recommend playing with one before purchasing. I tried one for a week. It was hands down the most comfortable IWB holster I have ever used. Unfortunately it was next to impossible to get a full firing grip on the gun before it came out of the holster and that made it a no go for me.
I’ve had two of the professional models. Worked great for my HK P30, but was terrible for subcompact P238 as like you mentioned couldn’t get a good grip on handgun to do the “twist” unlock, had to send it back for refund.

This may be the first time I’ve ever seen a cop carry such a thing. Everyone always carries the CVS or Wal Mart type notepads because they’re cheap and you can toss em when they get nasty. Now, I know Mr. Jordan is State Police and so doesn’t actually have to write anything investigative in there (his traffic citation book is a different story) but come on. (Also, putting your MSP badge and name on a public ‘everyday carry’ site?)
