I was going to point out the low cap magazine but the California reference took care of that for me.
Jeez if you’re rounds limited like that, why not downsize the gun and save on weight and bulk?
Weight helps with recoil and ‘bulk’ can aid in sight alignment and grip (if you’ve got big hands)
