Prison is supposed to rehabilitate, not punish, offenders. It is punishment to be locked away from society, but, if the convict has a release date, they want him/her to be able to live in our society. We all know to truth here, but we need to make an effort to make these people integrate into society as well as address the needs of the mentally ill that are arrested and let go because the jail/prison system doesn’t have a way to keep them.
Our system is broken, it needs more money, just as all of our infrastructure does.
Prison keeps the bad guys away from the good guys. It doesn’t rehabilitate. Normal, minor criminals will learn their lesson, and they’ll be determined to never go back, even if they were immediately bailed out and didn’t have to stay long. The ones that tend to keep going back are the ones that need a longer stay.

Investigating and/or advocating for public policy which has 51% or more of public support is fine as long that policy does not violate the inalienable rights and human dignity of the public. Unfortunately, a rather large number of people only care about the “51% or more” part and have ZERO regard for our inalienable rights and human dignity.

That statistic has been so thoroughly debunked that only clueless and shameless Leftist retards would cite it, but as others on this thread have mentioned, even if it were true, it would not justify or render Constitutional their “solution”.
It is interesting to note that virtually every anti-2A screed includes that hoary and wholly-false statistic, but I’ve never read one, yet, that addressed or tried to refute the tons of research, analyses, studies and polls that prove it false. It’s a typical failure of omission – Once people have the specifics of “Gun control” spelled out in detail, the ’60 percent support’ evaporates to far under 50 percent…
Another aspect to equality in firearms laws are police officers vs. non-police officers. In NYC a police officer aren’t held to the assault weapons ban. Off-duty and even retired cops can carry concealed weapons in municipalities where non-cops can’t.
That is textbook unequal treatment. Unfortunately that doesn’t push the preferred narrative. Plus, the left isn’t even interested in equal treatment, only “equity,” to be distributed by…the government.

The first white person I saw support 2A rights for blacks was a member of the Log Cabin Republicans in 1980. They also had rocks and glass bottles thrown at them in pride parades by the socialist progressive gays. Then there was Aaron Zelman of the JPFO. Who said blacks should have guns. He talked using the research of Clayton E Creamer, “The racist roots of gun control”. And Col Jeff Cooper who said inner city people should be given guns. So “they can solve their own problems”.
It was a white Jewish ACLU lawyer, democrat, California State Senator Alan Sieroty, who cowrote the most racist gun control law in modern US history. The Mulford Act. It was a white “pink hand” man, Tom Ammiano, who got elected to the San Francisco school board. This racist white gay man voted to destroyed the 2A education and rifle teams in the SF city school system. That was his reason for getting elected to the board in the first place. I disagree that blacks can be racists. They have never made any hate groups.
I disagree that blacks do not understand their rights and that seems to be blatantly ignorant thing to suggest like a goal to misinform and be accepted as fact without proof.
In 2007 I was convicted of domestic assault for slapping someone who came into my house throwing watermelons on the floor while I was sleeping. They did this to wake me up. I had not been sleeping because the freemasons had been using flashing lights to deprive me from sleep. It was like mk ultra and very sensory overload, like torture.
The police came to my house and arrested me and I spent two months in jail for assault. They told me I had to wait three years to apply for my gun rights back. Another man Scott who is white was told he had to complete 3 months of domestic violence counseling and then he could have his guns returned. It is not a case of not understanding the law but how law is dispensed. They are racist criminals.
I went to apply for a cpl at pierce county, there is a clerk on the second floor for cpl applications. The woman told me I had to go to another line and pay off debts or get a letter saying that I did not owe money. This is illegal. Additionally they told me that I was ” not in there system”. They pervert the course of justice.
I went to petition for my gun rights. I paid $20 for my criminal background record and paid $10 to print out the application forms at the law library. I took the paper to the clerk on the first floor where I was instructed to take it. The person there was a black man. He said I had to first make sure I had my court fees paid off. I went to another clerk and they said I was “not in there system”. I went back to the black clerk and he said “that isn’t right”, and that was the end of it. There is no reason for Black Americans to respect the government of the United States.
Later I was told that all the blacks with money or work for the government were only hired because they are homosexuals and subservient to white supremacist policies. My experience confirms this. They only hire gays and Jews. This implies that there is no equality for blacks who are honest and freedom loving. They only give limited rights to coons and sellouts. This means that having black billionaires is not a scientific proof of equality in America but a rather lazy one. All it proves is they gave him money because he agreed to help destroy his race.
So I guess I could buy a gun and not have a cpl and carry it illegally and get up to a year in jail for ” gun related charges” like so many other black men simply because I carried my gun in a fashion similar to white men who conceal carry. There are legal traps designed to disenfranchise blacks. So blacks can buy and own guns but not use them. The government is designed to put artificial obstacles to deny blacks constitution rights. The people saying otherwise are not going to convince anybody otherwise, it just shows they are bigots. I don’t care if it is ignorance on their part or deliberate lying the fact is they do not care about the truth and are not to be trusted. They are part of the problem and always will be.
The University Place Gun Range had fees of about $360 a year to shoot outdoors. The Prices dropped to an incredible $198. I was willing to take that up but someone sabotaged my car and I have been without a car since them. Makes it hard to carry a rifle open carry down the street for fear of people calling the police. Police are quick to respond because they are racist. I was returning Amazon packages to UPS and they stopped and asked if my name was on the packages. To return packages you have to remove the labels and get new ones at UPS. They know this but do not care. They lie and say someone reported “suspicious behavior” but noone did. They lie. The UPS store was about to close so they only wanted to waste my time so I would be late and have to return the next day. This is all police are all day everyday.
Another time I was walking down the street and the police stopped and said someone reported a break in. They lied. They searched and detained me for 10 minutes then let me go.
Another time I was walking to the store to buy cigarettes. A cop drove by and rolled down his window and said he wanted to talk to me. I said ” I do not want to talk to you” and I kept walking. He followed me for two blocks and then pulled me over lights flashing for “jaywalking” in a crosswalk at an intersection with traffic lights. He said “you have to talk to me now”. He called for backup. He had a bad attitude. He tried to intimidate me by threatening to give me a ticket. He asked me “do you want a ticket?” after a long pause I said “No”. It was a stupid question. He was trying to provoke a fight.
Noone ever calls the cops on me, the police just lie and say they do because they are racists. I have seen police take off their shirts and have full back swastika tattoos.
The issue is not whether blacks feel police can protect them but whether they are given the rights to protect themselves. The issue is not whether blacks trust public transportation to take them to their destination but whether they are given the right to own vehicles and the privilege of driving them. My wallet has been stolen 5 times by whites and every time getting my license restored or renewed has been a hassle at DOL. They try to limit blacks mobility and disarm them.
The complaints blacks have against whites is longer than whites will admit so they try to surmise it into something short and manageable just to make themselves look innocent to shirk responsibility. Since they are the bad guys they are not going to fix problems they caused and it would be foolish to trust them. They are in denial about how abusive they really are and in denial about how repressive this country is to blacks. They do not mention 99% of the issues faced because that is not their job. Their job is to pretend to care and downplay any truth that would expose them for what they really are.
The deep state is racist too blacks and involved in sex crimes. Qanon at least had the audacity to call political and law enforcement agencies out for this. They are scared of being exposed for being rapists. But when they are exposed everything i have been saying will be validated and everyone who called me a liar will look complicit in covering up the truth and giving them aid. They picked the wrong side of the war to be on.
My only financial interests at this point is buying up the national deficit, waiting for government to collapse, having government default on it’s debt to me, seizing land as payment and reforesting death valley.
Gun rights and whether I have a gun is small potatoes at this point. Too little to late. Anytime I am wronged I escalate the situation so that I am not fighting for what was taken away or withheld me but something that hurts my oppressor utterly and severely. I am not stupid and am not someone to be trifled with.
