  1. If it seems odd that he never mentions guns and yet he and RF are going to debate, keep in mind that RF didn’t pick this guy, Conscious Campus did. They thought that these two would be a good match for a conversation/debate. Whether that turns out to be so remains to be seen.

  2. Ask this guy when he is going to get his butt on the street and convert the Banger Culture to Non-Violence. Disarming law abiding citizens is the wrong side of the equation.

  3. I suspect that the SAF realizes that we’re rapidly approaching the limit to how far the courts are going to interpret the 2nd Amendment to invalidate established gun control laws. Since every organization wishes to perpetuate it’s own existence, they’re trying to branch out from the legal realm.

I’m sure some people won’t like the first part of the above statement, but I suspect it’s true. Banning the blanket prohibition of handguns and forcing Illinois to issue carry permits will probably be as far as it goes. It was an interesting few years for 2nd Amendment jurisprudence, but that party is probably over.

Post-Heller court decisions have already affirmed the constitutionality of prohibited person statutes. In 2011 an appeals court upheld the constitutionality of the bar on 18-20 year olds purchasing handguns via licensed dealers in Jennings vs. BATFE, and so far there’s no indication the SCOTUS will continue the case.

I have no expectation that courts will invalidate assault weapon bans, magazine capacity limitations, universal background checks, or any of the other things we worry about. Like it or not, here on out, it’s going to be a political fight. Really, just like it was before Heller.

  4. I won’t murse carry. Ever. It’s very insecure and besides, not matching my belt and shoes would be a fashion faux pas of epic proportions.

  5. Why does such a small group get so much attention? There is no such thing as bad press and every time they are mentioned here adds to their credibility of a legitimate organization. My vote is to never mention them again…ever.

  6. Purses are literally loot bags. Something that is either stolen or drops off a body. Also I’m thinking it’s not the fastest place to reach for when trouble arrives. Hold on, let me move all this crap out of the way. Tampons, cellphone, makeup, notepad, wallet, o there we go, gun. I’m sure there are special pockets for firearms in some bags but it still seems like a slow and useless hindrance.

I’m not a woman, so I guess I don’t see the allure of wanting to show off my curves over keeping body off the pavement all dead like.

  7. Are you working thru the same organizer for this debate as the last one? Maybe demand that you won’t appear until you get your memory card (with the video intact) from the last debate returned to you.

  8. Blue gun, no background check
Paint it black rob a store
If your aren’t going to shoot, just rob, what’s the diff.
Can’t get busted for weapons charges, duh.
Glock wants nothing to do with that.
If it’s for training, an M&P will do just fine

  9. Contracts have continued to run as long as there was money already loaded against the contract. Once the money loaded against the contract is exhausted the contractors are sent home. It is, therefore, quite possible that the money loaded against the contract has recently been exhausted.

  10. Must’ve been a Glock 7. You know how dangerous and undetectable those things are…she probably didn’t even know it had infiltrated her purse.
