“The error in the (Devin) Kelley case was not an isolated incident and similar reporting lapses occurred at other locations. Although policies and procedures requiring reporting were in place, training and compliance measures were lacking.” – Air Force Official Statement in Air Force Failed to Report Dozens of Service Members to Gun Database [via nytimes.com]

  1. The man’s belly is the biggest threat to him.
Many white guys see society changes as threatening them and cling to their guns for comfort. They would be better off going to the gym to fight the belly and working on their education to make them competitive in the job market – a good paying job will make them feel far more secure and probably afford to buy a house in the safe part of town.

  2. More like “Thought-Crimes” will be added to the Prohibited Persons schedule”. Via the secret government watch lists of rebel US citizens attempting to own any kind of weapon NOT authorized by local/city/state/federal Law Enforcement, and Your Local/City/state Political party official…Sounds alot like the old Soviet union to me….

  3. ” A lion tried to kill me 6 hours ago”

Haha. Nope. If he only noticed the lion when it was 5 yards away it was not trying to kill him. Mountain lions can pounce over 10 yards. If the lion had been trying to kill him it would have done so. Hissing is a cat’s way of saying “back off” not a prelude to an attack.

  4. The irony here is that this is the same Air Force that issues you a flashlight, makes you sign for it, and then requires it to be turned in when you PCS. Apparently they care more about the flashlight than about registering felonies.

  5. So trophy hunting will lead to extinction? I’m curious as to see who paid for that ‘study’. You may lose some of the prime males in a population but, extinction based on overhunting(poaching in most cases) is not really the issue. That real issue is nearly always habitat loss.

I didn’t really see anything about that in the article.

  6. So… basically, with the exception of the 2-to-1, it’s a Viking Tactics VTAC with a mount change for the stock for $6-$10 more than the VTAC…?

That’s what I got out of this.
