Delta Charlie, a “public safety professional” sends in his 2010 Everyday Carry for today’s featured submission.  Three things:  The gun, a GLOCK 30 .45, a Duck knife and a cheap watch.

That knife looks like it’s something from Chicago where the city has an ordinance against blades longer than 2″ if memory serves.  For minors, the length limit is 1.5″.  Of course, both are just a small price to pay for the crime-free utopia that is Chicago.

Glad DC’s carrying more tools today.

  1. Like Glock and Spydercos, but holster, spare mag and illumination. Blade is a bit short.

  2. .45 ACP in a Glock, ,”Oh Spirit of Sight, blind my eyes, for this should not be seen.*

  3. I am pretty up on knives, but Duck is a new company to me. Looks like a Spyderco. Will have to do some research on that one.

  4. If your authorized to carry “Weapons” and not restricted to “Firearms”: like Florida Weapons and Firearms Lic., you carry any knife(s) and handgun(s) you can conceal. I have no problems with “other peoples” minimal gear. Not my monkey, not my circus. Same goes for the “Pack Rats” carrying 5 knives, two flashlights, Mac tool box and EMT Kit.

  5. <3” blade where I live and can’t be in a shape designed for stabbing, yet I can legally carry a pistol with as many rounds as I wish. Gun laws are confusing and dumb but knife laws can be truly draconian.
