From Bergara . . .

BPI Outdoors / Bergara Rifles is pleased to announce their Premier Competition Rifle. This gun is the most accurate and highest-performing production class PRS style Bergara rifle that exists. Paired with your optic of choice, the Bergara Competition Rifle is competition-ready right out of the box.

By starting with a 26”- #7 profile stainless steel competition Bergara barrel it makes the barrel stiffer, more stable, and doesn’t walk as fast after it gets heated up, plus it takes longer to heat up. Paired with a Bergara Premier action and built in the most popular competition calibers such as, 6mm Creedmoor (1:7.5 twist) and 6.5 Creedmoor. (1:8 twist) This gun has all of the features a shooter needs to end up on the podium.

Damon Bungard, BPI Outdoors Senior Marketing Manager stated, “As a brand known for our precision barrels, it’s natural for our customers to want to compete with our guns. We’ve been hearing their requests for a purpose-built platform that addresses the specific needs of competitive shooters, and we wanted to build the best offering we could for Production class PRS style shooters. We’ve teamed up with the best in the business to make the Premier Competition Rifle that win-win reality.”

Additional features include the Acra-Swiss rail for easy and fast adjustments. The 3-in-1 rail has a screw hole for your common camera tripod adaptor. The Acra-Swiss rail also allows you to easily slide your gun back and forth, and if you have a Picatinny bipod, mounting and adjusting are seamless.

Bergara’s Trigger Tech® partnership makes use of the patented Frictionless Release Technology™ to increase performance and accuracy for the end-user by eliminating creep and heavy trigger pulls. This Bergara Premier Competition Rifle is ready to compete right out of the box.

MSRP = $2499

    • I’ll give you a preview of the review.

      Hell of a gun. The price for the finished rifle is less than you would pay for the unfinished parts to build it yourself. Very very hard to give this one back, even though I already have one very much like it. I don’t think I’ll find one this inexpensive again.

  1. They said it was a good shooter paired with the scope of my choice. , gotta go with what I got.
    I got one of them plastic bb gunm scopes, gotta get your eyeball lined up just right.
    If I get this rifle will it improve my luck of hitting something. Do they make it in a yank flinch caliber?

  2. “….. We’ve teamed up with the best in the business to make the Premier Competition Rifle that win-win reality.”

    Observing the Masterpiece Arms logo on the chassis, guessing they are the referred to “best in the business.” But, no mention or clarification of such in the article. Kinda important point.
    DUH!!!! Which chassis, features???

  3. “So and So is pleased to do XYZ” is the most overused tripe formula in marketing. Who cares if THEY’RE pleased? In the proposal world, it means “we’re nowhere close to compliant but here’s 500 pounds of paper anyway.” When you’re focused on the customer, you don’t go around saying how pleased you are with yourselves.
