Today’s pocket dump comes from security contractor Chris Creazzo. Chris favors a Gen 4 GLOCK 19 and carries not one, but two folding knives – a Spyderco and an Emerson. The beard comb is a new one…not sure I’ve seen one in a pocket dump before.

How many knives do you guys carry on a daily basis? Come on, be honest.

  1. Usually have two knives: one a Case stockman for daily chores & tasks, the other a larger folder reserved for any defensive situation (Benchmade Barrage a long time favorite).

  2. I carry one, but it’s sharp enuff to shave with. As my father would have said” Poor dummy, spent all his money on watches and guns and can’t afford a razor.”

  3. For the past few months, 2 pocket folders.
I’m wear testing a new finish, so I try to use it more.
Both are sharp enough to shave with.

  4. EDC is a Leek from Kershaw. a 600 series Gerber multi-tool. A Davos folder for dress up with a smaller Gerber M.T. Have many choices including Benchmade autos. but always go back to the leek. For you with a leek with a weak spring, call Kershaw and get a new one or two at no charge. Nice buck Tom in ore.

  5. Two knives. One is a 3″ Gerber Bear Grylls lockback (hey, don’t laugh; it’s cheesy but it’s sturdy as hell) clipped onto my left pocket, and the other is a tiny little Kershaw Silver Spur that lives in the coin pocket of my jeans.

The little mini sees a fair amount of use opening packages and cutting twine. The lockblade collects a fair amount of lint.

  6. Does the box cutter I carry at work count as a second knife? I normally carry a Kershaw (either an Amplitude 3.25 or an 1846WM, a Walmart exclusive version of RJ Martin’s Tactical II) and a Gerber MP 450 multitool.
