The Hawks (South African Special Police Unit) have launched an investigation into the above Facebook photo, helping the image achieve international viral status. Redacted, of course (e.g. blogs.voanews.com). The obviously faked snap originally appeared on the homepage of a user named Eugene Terrorblanche; an homage to Eugene Terreblanche, the murdered leader of the right wing Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging. The image first appeared in June. Just goes to show that you can’t keep a good meme down.

  1. Harry Turtledove used the AWB in his “Guns of the South” novel. They were racist murdering evil ba***ards there. Are they different in real life?

    • i think “get over it pc bitches” is an uneducated and classless response, i think you are just a couple of decades late to go join the colonial wars so you can get out your kid killing jollies.

  2. SICK MINDS AT WORK. Mikey and magoo are going to really pick on us now. I’m not into the PC thing, but this is wrong.

  3. It’s so obviously fake. The Boers get brutally murdered on their farms with alarming frequency. Apparently Nelson Mandela’s rendition of “Kill the Boer” is a smash hit over there. White South Africans are too busy joining prayer circles and getting beaten and raped, to fight back.

  4. The link to the “proof” that the picture is fake does not say that the picture is fake. In fact, you have no proof that the picture is fake at all. However, you also have no context for this picture so you don’t know what it’s really all about.
