With the ONN on the reporter's microphone, and the comment about the helicopter, I though I was watching the Onion News Network. It is almost too ridiculous to believe.
I think that drawing on the attacker is getting dangerously close to being reckless. There are so many ways that this could have ended badly for the couple.
Although I would think that yelling at the guy, saying that the police are on their way would not be a bad idea. It could be enough confrontation just having witnesses for him to break off his attack.
