  1. I am also a VZ owner. I went with the FAB defense poly furniture, ambi mag release, tactical bolt release, side rail and Aimpoint pro with an AFG. The rifle is easier to operate than an AK and has fairly quick mag changes. Does the vertical grip interfere with mag changes I wonder? What I really want is a CSA pistol like in the new Bond. Of course it would need a stamp to go with it.

  2. Nice. How well does the compensator work? My VZ2008 still has the AK style brake on it, which causes the thin folding stock to smack my cheekbone on every shot. I’m thinking something like this brake would help eliminate that.

    • it is a marked improvement over the AK slant break.
But I also replaced the folder with a Mako Folding M-4 style stock.

  3. These guns intrigue me very much. I think I will add one to the stable in 2016. I only wish they accepted AK mags because I have a plethora of them.

    • Unfortunately you have missed the boat, The century stock of kits has dried up and the price has shot up from the low 400s.

  4. VZ mags are better for several reasons:
Made of aluminum so lighter and basically rust proof
Can be recharged with stripper clips while in the weapon

Wish I could get my hands on one of these rifles, but they’re expensive and hardly ever in stock.
