Yeah, it’s another AR-15, but this one is pretty cool. S.W.O.R.D.’s line of rifles is designed to be just about 100% user-serviceable in the field with a couple screws and the twist of a (proprietary) wrench being all it takes to swap calibers or change barrel lengths without losing zero. Their “deployment kit” will include multiple barrels, multiple handguard options and much more. Sounds like a nifty idea to me.
They will be shipping these in various configurations and with multiple options on the finish of the rifle. Everything from plain black to snakeskin is on the table and some of it looks pretty seksi. Don’t expect these to be cheap, but they look great. Rest assured we’ll be getting one for testing very soon.
