“The Brady Campaign is arguably America’s most successful gun-control organization. It has helped advocate for successfully passed laws and has filed suits on behalf of victims of gun violence. Yet they have not issued a statement pressing the Obama administration for accountability in Operation Fast and Furious, and they have not stated if they support the appointment of an independent prosecutor to carry out an investigation.” – Bob Owens
Brady camp is too busy trying to raise the radar a few feet.

Awww…c’mon, Fast and Furious is an asset and ally to the Brady Bunch. Why investigate and stir up your allies own little enterprise.
Sarah Brady, et al., have surprisingly little to say about actual criminals getting guns, especially when their government supplies them. Which puts the lie to the notion that gun control is about stopping crime. It’s you they don’t want to have weapons.
“The Brady Campaign is arguably America’s most successful gun-control organization.”
They are? That’s embarrassing. Really doesn’t say much for American gun-control groups.
Duh….
The Brady Campaign is a business, and Fast and Furious helped business. Does anyone really think they care at all about preventing violence or helping “victims” of gun violence? Maybe some of their low-tier drones do, but not the guys calling the shots.
Roger that. With the violent, the only thing that stops violence is the promise of more violence coming back. This is reality, with which Brady also is at war.
Silver, the Brady Campaign is a business, just as you stated. Unlike most businesses, however, the Brady wingnuts have only one customer.
The Bradys are not a formidable enemy. The real enemy is the Joyce Foundation. The Bradys, VPC and the rest are just errand boys.
Winds and tides change direction. An economy goes through expansion and contraction cycles even when it is not being manipulated by the banksters and government criminals. Overall, the RKBA pro-gun community can look back upon the past four years with increases in gun ownership among Americans (and less crime), an expansion in the number of laws for CC and open carry, and a recognition of American citizens right to own and bear arms. I take none of it for granted that it will continue. Many people are fickle. Trends and attitudes can change among the people, and so can the degree of an increasingly authoritarian government’s heavy handed interdiction into the RKBA.
