New from Inland Manufacturing, manufacturers of various M1 Carbine and M1911 reproductions, is an M1 “Carbine” that’s most certainly anything but historically-accurate. An even larger departure from tradition than suppressor-ready M1 Scout we recently reviewed. This legally-a-pistol .30 Carbine sports an AR grip, Sage EBR chassis, threaded 12″ barrel, and a Gear Head Works Tailhook brace. Press release follows . . .
New .30 Caliber Pistol for 2018
Available soonMKS Supply, Inc., Dayton, OH, October, 2017 – Inland Manufacturing, makers of the incredibly popular Inland series of M1Carbines, debuts its new .30 caliber carbine pistol.
Inland’s new M30-P pistol with Gear Head Mod II Tail Hook Arm Brace is a highly modified version of Inland’s popular full size .30 caliber carbine. It is fitted into a special Sage Enhanced Battle Rifle tactical carbine stock, and comes with a Gear Head Works Mod II Arm Brace, Ergo Sure Grip pistol grip, and handy (1/2×28 tpi threaded) 12-inch barrel.
The Sage EBR M30-P chassis*1 is specially designed for this Inland pistol and when combined with the Mod II Tail Hook Arm Brace (fits the forearm, it is not a shoulder stock) makes effective one-hand shooting a breeze. Inland’s 12-inch barrel delivers excellent ballistics, especially with today’s modern ammunition. Each M30-P is shipped with one 10-round magazine and, like all Inland .30 caliber carbines and pistols, the magazine catch fits higher-capacity military and civilian magazines.*2
These features combine to make the Inland M30-P pistol a highly efficient, compact, robust, and accurate system.

Hey man, love your tests, been great info! My question for you is, I was hella curious as to why the precision armament m4-72 scored different in the third test vs. the first test? If u use the numbers for that comp in the first test, then technically it still beat out the winner of the third test…only by a hundredth of an inch, but it still scored better…so why is it the numbers for that comp are so different? I believe it went from a 2.4 in the first test, to a 2.9 in the third.. so im just curious as to what changed? Thanks for your help, and reviews!
Wow, that thing is ugly. Some serious pistol inbreeding going on.
That is sexy!
Do WANT… but 1700 bucks??? WHAT?
One of my favorite guns I’ve ever reviewed.
Price is outrageous… Would love to have one of these with a lightweight non tacticool keymod handguard, an underfolder like in an AK. Would make a great backpack gun for the wilderness. If they were smart, they would sell the receiver for cheap and allow people to build their own like an AR. Would sell lots in volume I’d wager.
Hmm. Help me out here:
— Your muzzle velocity is 2770 fps.
— You are zeroed at 300 yards.
— You thought the deer was at 330 yards (meaning almost no holdover).
— The deer was actually 420 yards away.
If all that is true, your bullet should have been a LOT low and went under the deer entirely (or even hit the ground short of the deer). I am thinking that your 420 yard range determination is actually incorrect and your original 330 yard range determination was correct.
What do I have wrong?
Never owned a Henry but handled a nice one not too long ago and I was impressed, it was as slick as my tuned non safety older Marlin and “73 Winchester SASS rifles.
Ludicrous!
would love to see a M1 that’s modernized like that. or just make them again for that matter. tired of waiting for the Korean War M1’s to come home.
and Springfield Armory can kiss my a$$.
This moron doesn’t realize the that primary reason Paddock had 23 guns in his room is so HE WOULD NOT HAVE TO RELOAD! He was doing “New York Reloads” – just grabbing another rifle which already had a limited number of bullets in it.
So next time, the shooter brings FIFTY guns with 10-round mags and still shoots 500 rounds in ten minutes.
Or he simply modifies the rifles he has – or buys them already modified by a criminal gunsmith – and he still ends up shooting 500 people.
Or, unlike Paddock, he doesn’t NEED to shoot into a crowd of 22,000 people and picks a crowd of, say, 2,000 people who are too packed in an enclosed space to be able to get out the door before his 10 round weapons can still kill 50 people, even if wounding fewer.
Also, how does this get rid of the hundred million or so EXISTING firearms that have magazine capacities larger than 10 rounds.
This is the level of government this country has…run by morons.
Damn,I was thinking, “Cool’ , but no the knifes a folder.
Nice, but not even this will get me to sign up for Flakebook or Irritagram.
Democratic party equals to fake news.
That thing is fucking gross.
Never admit to owning an UNTUCKit shirt. Dumbest product ever.
We don’t take away pens. What what. No. What about the poor Facebook suiciders, someone wrote something bad about their acne, and choice of clothes. And they offed themselves. No More Bully’s. ……….. Paddock is making a bunch of people riich.
Interesting. Do they use the shortened buffer typical of DPMS rifles?
I remember when I built my AR-10 with a carbine stock I had to use the slightly longer Vltor A5 buffer tube to accommodate a full sized buffer.
I went that route because the general consensus on AR10 forums was the shortened buffer caused more wear on DPMS-patterned rifles.
Mr. Campos is going to be a rich man. Between MGM and the LVMPD he’ll be taken care of well. Provided he continues to say the “right things”. Money trumps truth.
Why do these goons always seem to get plenty of airtime to peddle their nonsense?
I sometimes long for the days before the internet and the associated sensationalism & rabid 24 hour news cycle that accompanied it.
If I want an opinion on economics and sustainable development, I might listen to the good professor. However, on any other subject, definitely not. In my experience, professors have a lot of knowledge on one very specific subject but in all other aspects of life struggle to make it through the day………
“Would such an approach offer some relief to a society that is suffering an epidemic of deaths from mass shootings, random gun violence, and rising fear?
The professor is somewhere far from reality. There is no “epidemic” of firearms murders. And, our suicide rate is actually reasonable (below a few leftist-cherished utopias like Sweden and Finland, for example).
Bonus points: who would have guessed that Sachs is a globalist?
“The Earth Institute [director: Jeffrey Sachs] was established at Columbia University in 1995. The research institute’s stated mission is to address complex issues facing the planet and its inhabitants, with a focus on sustainable development. With an interdisciplinary approach this includes research in climate change, geology, global health, economics, management, agriculture, ecosystems, urbanization, energy, hazards, and water. The Earth Institute’s activities are guided by the idea that science and technological tools that already exist could be applied to greatly improve conditions for the world’s poor, while preserving the natural systems that support life on Earth.”
Bet he’d change his mind if an over grown nazi in a leather leotard busted into his bedroom one night as had his way with him.
