Menino and Bloomberg – The Lost First Take

We showed you MAIG Mayors Tom Menino (Boston) and Mike Bloomberg (NYC) in their made-for DC-only commercial that aired last night during the Super Bowl. But one of our moles in the New York production company that filmed the spot has sent us this previously unseen original take that was left on the cutting room floor. The mayors’ PR flacks evidently concluded that the script, as originally written, was a little too straightforward to be effective. (video is not iPhone compatible)

Here in lower NY they have 3 options for LEO, current and retired to carry, but no civilian carry whatsoever. I asked the county legislator about that and he replied “…It’s a policy that’s worked well for us in the past.”
