Magpul announced yesterday that two new stocks (both retailing for $99) are shipping to distributors very soon: the STR (Storage/Type Restricted) and ACS-L (Adaptable Carbine Stock – Light). Both of these stocks are variations of their standard line, the STR being a CTR with a battery storage compartment strapped to it and the ACS-L being a thinner and lighter variant of their ACS stock. I’ve been waiting for them to slim down their ACS stock for a long time — the thing is just too bulky for my tastes and a slimmed down version seems like it would be much more comfortable and maneuverable.
