What I want to know is how this handles firearms that federal law doesn’t consider an SBR but Michigan state law previously did. For example, the 16″ barrel Uzi carbines with a folding stock are normal rifles under federal law, but because when the stock is folded its overall length was <26", Michigan tried to argue it was an SBR per state law.
Well, you can't get "federal paperwork" to present to their police on that. Unless they changed their legal definition of SBR to match the federal one
There is a movement for gun rights in Brazil: http://defesa.org
That’s the site for the Campanha do Armamento, the Campaign for Armament, a play on the name of the Campaign for Disarmament, the main anti-gun movement in Brazil.
That’s an ILLEGAL CLOUD in Cal. NY, NJ & Ohio,
Suspend GOD, oh yeah they allready did that in Schools
Does that Bashir guy always act like he’s shitting himself when he gets excited or does Mr. Noir really have him that upset?
In the Safe ACT it forces sale or destuction of one’s personal property when they die. This is about not allowing the owner to will away or give his AR style rifle to a family member. What authority is this under and how can it be constitutional.
Anyone who spends time around gun owners and shooters knows that our hobby has more than it’s fair share of d’bags in it. Saying let’s all behave so we don’t give the gunophobes something to latch onto is pointless. You’ll never reach the people who get into shouting and shoving matches and who come to the gun store as an expression of their masculinity. I think your very first commenter had it right: allow the market to solve this problem by setting the price right. Otherwise you’re no different from Carter forced to ration gasoline when prices were suppressed after demand exceeded supply. He got the same thing we’re getting here – panic buying, bulk buying, and hoarding.
mental health checks are a slippery slope. what constitutes a problem? meds? masturbating too much? driving without a seatbelt? listening to Iron Maiden?
it would definitely have the possibility to be abused.
Yeah, who’s really crazy? obummer for wanting to blow your ass up with a drone or the Repubs for wanting a drone in your bedroom? It used to be a tough choice come election time, not any more. The real criteria for mental illness is if you are a danger to yourself or someone else. The brady’s will kill themselves & you, I call that a danger, Randy
I agree – the review is BS. I have two Hi-Point 9mms, and they work as well as more expensive guns, and in my opinion they are easier to shoot accurately moreso than some others costing 2, 3, or 4 times as much. Hi-Point: a great value for the money!
This legal dialog is interesting but the real meat and potatoes is how the people respond to the attack on their Constitutional right. Obviously a great number of Americans are not going to go along with whatever infringes on their rights no matter how many laws are conjured up. Hamilton said it best responding to the Farmer ” In short, when human laws contradict or discountenance the means, which are necessary to preserve the essential rights of any society, they defeat the proper end of all laws, and so become null and void.” In essence if the courts fail to preserve the essential right enshrined in the second amendment the people will have no other recourse but to retain the right by exercising it. The only thing the courts can do is not pretend to be exercising jurisprudence.
I’m sooo glad the government corrected this and shared the truth with us . Now I will be able to relax and sleep better at night..ROFLMAO !!!Yeah..for all of who trust that all you have to do is ask the government and they will give you the truth , the whole truth and nothing but the truth, I have no words to describe how stupid you are !
