Gun Control Agitprop: Get ‘Em While They’re Young!

High School YouTuber talking about gun control (courtesy

In the video below, a High School student presumably named Carl agitates for gun control to the repetitive sound of folk guitar. It takes the man bun man less than a minute to get his facts wrong. The Las Vegas shooter did not “steal a bunch of guns.” It gets worse from there . . .

Am I wrong to assume that our videographer is a product of a public school education in an urban area? And that the public school system discourages what I’d call fact-based analysis?

Once again a quick reminder: culture eats strategy for lunch.

None are so blind as those who will not see.
He has chosen to be ignorant and prides himself on his lack of knowledge. If confronted with facts he would deny them and retreat back to the comfort of the lies he prefers to believe.
    A waste of everyone’s time.

  2. avatar Alex Waits says:

Aside from his poor production value, lack of actual facts, his demeanor, body language and “leading” questions, and his “man on the street” portrayal of this anti gun “real talk”

That guitar was absolutely terrible. Like, really bad, just God damn awful.

  3. avatar Rick the Bear says:

The children are our future. 😫

    1. avatar Huntmaster says:

Politicians aren’t the only people who go brain dead and get verbal diarrhea when you put a camera on em.

    2. avatar Ing says:

      Scary, isn’t it.

  4. avatar pieslapper says:

Lies. Damn lies. And liberal agitprop. It’s almost like they really do want to confiscate all our guns.

  5. avatar Cloudbuster says:

The government said the Las Vegas shooter “wasn’t even a real citizen?” WTF? This guy is just making stuff up.

  6. avatar Green Mtn. Boy says:

Leftist’s eschew facts and truth as a matter of the orthodoxy of their religion.

  7. avatar Tom in Oregon says:

Was he/it having mini seizures during filming?
Or was he/it emulating the Captain Kirk school of acting?

Oh, and if I want 80 guns, I’ll have 80 guns. Fvck you very much.

  8. avatar anonymoose says:

    Where are his hands, Carl?

  9. avatar Danny L Griffin says:

Practically zero statements he made through the entire video were true. WTF? Is he really that stupid?

    2. avatar California Richard says:

He was able to put together a video that we are having a serious conversation about. I think he’s a product of his environment and wilfully ignorant….. if anything, he could be classified as a useful idiot, who may one day graduate to the ranks of cynical liberal fascist. He may even own a gun one day when he realizes how the real world works. If he’s successful enough at stirring up the unwashed masses, he may even have armed body guards.

  10. avatar doesky2 says:

The Left destroys everything that it touches.
The educational system was one of the Lefts earliest victims.

    1. avatar ironicatbest says:

      Yes indeed

  11. avatar AFGus says:

Wow…..I’ve seen a crap load of ludicrous anti-gun videos in my time, but this one is right up there with the worst. Virtually everything this moron stated was patently false. I rolled my eyes so many times during this video, I now have to go look for some Visine to cool them down. As someone else said…..Lies and damned lies. SMDH

  12. avatar Troubled Soul says:

If this is one of the children we’re supposed to be thinking of, or doing it for, then we really got to be re-thinking that idea.

    1. avatar bryan1980 says:

You, sir, win the “Internet of the Day” award!

  13. avatar ironicatbest says:

It’s not what we know, it’s what the masses believe. The teachers did not correct him on the facts, because they do not know the facts. They know they’ve been told gunz are evil, and thats all they want to know. As for the young man, he is committed to what he believes, I will not demean him for that. I’m guessing this particular school district is on a ” Stop the murders.Stop the guns ” thing and you can’t blame the kids for their beliefs , as they live in a peer group dominated environment. The few Lone Wolves that stand apart are ostracized , kicked out of school and made ” an example of” .

    1. avatar pwrserge says:

I can think of a few other “young men” who were “committed to what they believe”… I believe they ran around Europe in spiffy black uniforms between 1939 and 1945… How did that turn out?

    2. avatar MyName says:

It never ceases to amaze me how tightly people will cling to the thoughts that were planted in their heads by k-12 teachers. On many occasions I have told someone that their facts were simply incorrect and they insist that I must be wrong because, “that’s what I learned in school.” Well, news flash Skippy, elementary and high school teachers are not exactly a repository of all knowledge in the universe.

Once, while helping a nephew with his math homework he said to me, “But that’s not what my teacher said.” I responded, “Well, kiddo, your teacher is wrong.” He was taken aback and wanted to know how that could be. I told him that my engineering Ph.D. trumps her bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Then I told him not to say that to his teacher.

  14. avatar Rigor Mortis says:

He is a student AND a post-millenial which means he’s already smarter than the rest of us, combined.

  15. avatar Ranger Rick says:

    The boy needs a haircut.

  16. avatar Kenneth G Maiden says:

The entire American education system is nothing but a lefty progressive mind warping propaganda mill. Lets face folks, the left owns not only the education system, but most of the media and a good chunk of the court system. America is slowly going down the drain.

  17. avatar Shire-man says:

Good news is nobody is going to think he’s cool and the only attention he’ll get will be from peers mocking him.

  18. avatar Gman says:

The left exists in a state of “Blissful Ignorance”. They are incapable of comprehending reality.

  19. avatar guidoc says:

He still can’t get laid, but he can vote in a few years.

  20. avatar A Brit in TX says:

Once again, the digital age unfortunately brings with it the ability of every idiot to get their message out. The rabid lockstep followers of the left wing agenda will cheer & applaud any message that is ‘on point’, no matter how illogical, poorly presented or whose source isn’t credible.

That’s the downside of the internet age, the upside is the availability of a vast amount of information at ones fingertips. A quick poll, does the upside outweigh the downside??

  22. avatar John Fritz HMFIC says:

Made it to 1:32. I’m out.

The way the bun lifts his arms up and pivots back and forth while blathering reminds me of David Byrne in the Talking Heads vid Once In A Lifetime.

  23. avatar Noone says:

Would someone please take this kid to a gun range?
An hour of trigger time would likely change his tune.
    .22 is a gateway drug.
