That is the most American EDC I have ever seen. Surpised there isn’t a bible and a baseball in that lineup, or maybe a slice of apple pie.

That Schrade Paratrooper knife is a real dud. Cool but a dud. Had one once and it sucked as an auto often not locking open. Plus big, clunky, loud and cheap steel.
Time for a real knife.
We were issued those things, more like a pocket knife, exactly once, lost them pretty quickly. They were spring loaded but only to pop blade out to thumb rest of way, meant to cut our way out of harness/suspension lines. Fixed blades strapped to harness were our choice, and useful for various purposes.
