I’ve always found the civilians can’t use military calibers kind of logic silly…
Well, I have heard the 9mm Luger doesn’t just kill, it kills the soul.
The way I was told it was that they don’t want people being able to obtain or stock up on ammo that can be used in military 9mm guns. I’m guessing Italy was awash in 9×19 military guns after WWII. A 9×21 will chamber and fire 9×19 ammo anyway.
I didn’t realize it applied to handguns as well as rifles.
