  1. Taxes on Marijuana should be determined by each respective state and revenues remain in that state. What, now the Fed’s see so many state’s legalizing it and they (Fed’s) know they would be idiots to prosecute. NOW they want to reap the benefits of the hard fought for legalization each state and “decriminalize” at the Fed level to collect TAXES and REGULATE OH BULL SH!T ! Every State Governor should tell the FED’s to pound sand. I don’t even smoke it but this is NUTS !!

  2. I 100% support all of their proposals….. as long as they only apply to the LAPD. The LAPD is going nuts looking for Christopher Dorner and, judging by their actions this morning, shouldn’t be carrying anything more powerful than a slingshot. Check out this great piece of detective work:

The truck, driven by two women delivering newspapers, that was mistakenly stopped by the LAPD in Torrance has at least 30 bullet holes in it. They didn’t even get the description of the truck right. They were supposed to be looking for a charcoal gray Nissan Titan. They stopped a blue Toyota Tacoma????

  3. I followed a Reddit thread on this last night, with many posters claiming to be from the areas where searches and confrontations have taken place. The links to local news sources are disturbing enough, but if the posters are to be given credence the LE in Southern Cali is off the rails over this. They’ve demanded no news coverage from the air, and are doing no-knock searches over a very wide area. This thread links to an unredacted copy of the shooter’s manifesto; he sounds like a long-term sociopath who has a somewhat legitimate beef with LAPD that finally kicked him fully over the edge. He claims to have deep depression going back several years- no mention from him or the press if he’s taking SSRI’s. Gun control is one of his major themes- that is, when he’s not bragging about his marksmanship and claiming ownership of a Barrett .50 cal.

Some disturbing links to local news shows the vehicles that were torched by LAPD with zero provocation; its obviously damage from full auto or select fire (the local paper referenced “bursts of fire”) and at least one of the trucks has very little resemblance to the shooters vehicle. And they did this twice within an hour!

  4. I agree on the Glock for home defense and Sheild for carry, but not the M&P for competition. I believe that the Springfield XD(m) 5.25 is a better competition gun in either 9mm or 40 S&W. While I guess it matter what competition you plan to do, the S&W M&P trigger IMHO, sucks unless you give it an APEX upgrade. While S&W has started to roll out a new trigger that will give you a nice reset feel, it still not like and XD(m).
